During the 13 December hearing, Nuon Chea continues to attack Vietnam during the fighting period with the Lon Nol regime. He told the court that Vietnam always prevented and opposed the struggle led by the Communist Party of Kampuchea.
After the [KR] fight was successful, almost 2 million Cambodians living cooperatives died of hunger or forced labor, but Nuon Chea explained that this was done by traitors in the Communist Party of Kampuchea who inflicted hardship on the people living in the cooperatives.
In response to questions asked by Judge Sylvia Cartwright regarding the evacuation of people from Phnom Penh, Nuon Chea said that the operation was conducted due to food shortage and insecurity caused by bad soldiers who were stealing and robbing and also to prevent any destruction from the US bombing.
During the 13 December hearing, the tribunal also questioned Khieu Samphan and Ieng Sary, but Ieng Sary had decided to forfeit his participation in the hearing and his rights to reply to the accusations leveled by the court.
The hearing for the accused was not completed yet, but it will delayed for now as on 14 December, the court will return to the hearing of witness Long Narin, Ieng Sary’s former assistant.
Judge Nil Nonn announced that the questioning of the accused will continue on 16 December.

Millions of illegal and legal Vietnamese have been residing inside Cambodia after Vietnam’s invasion in January 1979, causing extreme concerns amongst Khmer people about the prospect that Cambodia would be the second Kampuchea Krom (the current southern part of Vietnam).
How much Khmer natural resource has Vietnam destroyed after its invasion in January 1979?
The killings during the Pol Pot's era were committed by the Khmer rouge, the Khmer Vietminh, etc.
Notice that the Khmer Vietminh were created and brainwashed by Vietnam to make Khmers fight with Khmers, to make Khmers kill each others. Vietnam’s ulterior ultimate goal is to make Khmer people vanish from this world like Vietnam did to Champa. Vietnam must pay for this enormous K5 project crime. We need to take Vietnam to the international court about this K5 issue regarding Vietnam’s catastrophic action in Cambodia. Vietnam’s current dominance in Cambodia also contributes to the present majority Khmer people’s misery.

The mass evacuation from the Capital to the countryside was wrong and must be punished.
Since the Khmer Rouge at the time (April 1975) did not have enough manpower to administer the whole country, the Khmer Vietminh, who were created by Vietnam, seized the opportunity to execute Ho Chi Minh's plan. The Khmer Rouge Pol Pot and the Khmer Vietminh were both inside Cambodia during that Killing fields’ time.
In short, the killings during the Pol Pot's era were committed by the Khmer rouge, the Khmer Vietminh, etc.
If the Khmer Rouge created problems, the Khmer Vietminh and Vietnam exacerbated the problems. That is the fact.
That's why millions pf Khmer perished during the Pol Pot's era.

10:42 AM, I count not agree with you more. Khmer people (Khmer Kandahl) do not see enough that Khmer Krom people are suffering the most because of Communist Vietnamese Government's oppression.
Khmer people who voted for CPP that is a communist party controlled or under the provision of secret Viet/Yuon Communist masters in Hanoi. If Cambodia is under the Communist Yuon/Viet CPP party led by Dictator Hun Sen until no Khmer leaders in Cambodia except Yuon/Viet CPP official replaced Hun Sen, Khmer people will suffer enormously and have no freedoms to worship Buddhist, Khmer traditions, Khmer culture, Khmer wedding, Khmer Education, Khmer History and so on. It just likes Khmer Rouges Regimes that did not allow Khmer people to practice Buddhist, Khmer wedding, and you name it.
I suspect that hidden Yuon/Viet agents (who could speak and write Khmer language very well) lived among Khmer Rouges military controlled or toppled Pol Pot and those secret Yuon/Viet agents killed and ordered/trained young kids to kill elder/older people and their own parents. You could imagine by telling that this Killing Fields was created by Communist Vietnamese Masters in Hanoi in the blind eyes of Khmer people and foreigners in the world.
Evil Vietnamese/Yuon agents and folks or masters have been very smart and clever to trick Khmer people and international communities or foreigners to believe that they (Vietcong/Yuon evils) are very good guys or people. They smiled and acted friendly, but never trusted them. You have heard words in the Killing Fields called "Angkar Leur/Cap Tren" coming from higher up organization in Hanoi, "Vietnamese Masters" and their secret dirty plan to kill all Khmer people.
Before the Khmer people were evacuated to the countryside, many Khmer people in Phnom Penh were hiding in their houses and locked the doors firmly, we heard the noises with accents like Vietcong's accent. Many Khmer people in April 1975 said, Vietcong looked for us and killed us. That was very scary.
Forget Khmer Krom, but think the Federation of Indochina, you dumb Khmer! We, Viet, are everywhere in the world...
