The song and the video are quite reminiscent of Cambodia of the 70s.
The real traitors of the Cambodian nation are the Khmer Vietminh who serve their interests by selling themselves totally to Vietnam and thus lending themselves to being used by Vietnam for the subjugation of Cambodia.
Sihanouk, Lon Nol, Pol Pot and Son Ngoc Thanh were all quite wary of Vietnam's ambition to move westward territorially. They were certainly concerned of Cambodia's survival as a nation. Their true enemy was united Vietnam and the Khmer Vietminh.
These four Cambodian leaders knew full well the danger Cambodia faced on a daily basis when Vietnam was eventually united.
Unfortunately for selfish reasons and lack of humility and reconciliation to be united, they had lost sight of their true enemy and threat and began to fight among themselves in Cambodia through civil wars weakening her even further and poor Cambodia received a final blow to her head when the KR unleashed its unimaginable and destructive policies of autogenocide.
The oppositions in Cambodia are repeating the same mistakes even though they know history very well.
You can blame thieves all you want, but if your door is not properly closed, you will lose something again from your house and in the end others will own the very home you have lived in for so many years.
If Cambodians do not learn by now, they will probably never learn.
Cambodia will remain as a nation with the same name, no more, no less; however, the composition of her residents has already started to change and this change is exponentially rapid.

i really think sin sisamouth was killed because of revenge from sihanouk. sin sisamouth sang a few songs condemning sihanouk as traitor of cambodia. what about other singers and artists and stars, what did they do wrong to deserve death under the KR regiime? the KR were so ignorant and full of revenge and hatred. they were cruel and evil kind of people. now they all are old!
oh, yeah...those good old M113 APC's and the M79 grenades...
If the Khmer leader allowed the US's army stay in Rattanakiri during the 60's, Cambodia did not become a killing field.

i wonder did sihanouk have any advisers from the western countries or only from communist countries? that could explain why cambodia went that direction in the past, you know! having good advisors help, i think! anyway, that was history now unless you can go back in time.
