Synopsis: All of Bavet city (formerly known as Bavet commune) which is located in Svay Rieng province, payment of merchandises etc... is done using the Vietnamese "dong" currency rather than the Khmer riel even though this city is located on Cambodian territories and even if the Cambodian riel has higher value than the Vietnamese dong. The following report is filed by DAP-news a mouthpiece of the ruling CPP regime which was installed in power by the Vietnamese army. This is the situation in Cambodia nowadays under this puppet regime led by Hun Xen!
ស្វាយរៀង៖ ក្រុងបាវិត (ពីមុនជាឃុំបាវិត) ទាំងមូលដែលស្ថិតនៅ ក្នុងទឹកដីខេត្តស្វាយរៀងនោះ ការចាយវាយ ឬទិញទំនិញអ្វីមួយ គេទូទាត់ជាលុយដុង ជំនួសលុយរៀលខ្មែរ បើទោះបីជាក្រុងមួយនេះ ស្ថិតនៅលើទឹកដីខ្មែរ និងលុយខ្មែរយើង មានតំលៃថ្លៃជាងលុយដុង របស់វៀតណាមយ៉ាងណាក៏ដោយ។
ក្នុងការចុះយកព័ត៌មាននៅក្រុងបាវិត ក្រុមអ្នកយកព័ត៌មានមួយក្រុម មានការភ្ញាក់ផ្អើលយ៉ាងខ្លាំង ទៅនឹងការទូទាត់ជាលុយដុង ជំនួសឲ្យលុយរៀលខ្មែរ នៅពេលដែលពួកគេជិះម៉ូតូឌុប ទៅផ្សារក្រុងបាវិត និងទិញឥវ៉ាន់នៅក្នុងផ្សារនេះ ក្រុមអ្នករត់ម៉ូតូឌុប និងអ្នកលក់ឥវ៉ាន់ គេបានទូទាត់ជាលុយដុងវៀតណាម ដោយពួកអ្នកលក់ដូរទាំងនោះ ទាមទាឲ្យអ្នកទិញទំនិញទៅដូរលុយរៀលខ្មែរ យកលុយដុងមកឲ្យគេ។ បើតាមអ្នករត់ម៉ូតូឌុបម្នាក់ ដែលមិនហ៊ានប្រាប់ឈ្មោះ បានប្រាប់ឲ្យដឹងថា វាជាទម្លាប់ទៅហើយសម្រាប់អ្នកក្រុងបាវិត ដែលចាយលុយដុងជំនួសលុយរៀលរបស់ខ្មែរយើងនោះ ព្រោះក្រុងបាវិតនេះ មានទីតាំងខ្លះសម្បូរជនជាតិវៀតណាមរស់នៅ និងសម្បូរទៅដោយជនជាតិវៀតណាម ដែលចូលមកលេងនៅក្នុងកាស៊ីណូទាំង ១១នៅក្នុងក្រុងនេះ។
អភិបាលក្រុងបាវិតលោក ឈូក បណ្ឌិត បានប្រាប់ឲ្យដឹងថា នៅក្នុងក្រុងបាវិត លុយអ្វីក៏គេចាយដែរ គឺមិនមានការរើសអើងនោះទេ «សព្វថ្ងៃនេះនៅស្រុកខ្មែរយើង បាវិតក៏ដូចជាភ្នំពេញលុយអីក៏គេចាយបានដែរ»។ ពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងសំណួរដែលសួរថា តើអាជ្ញាធរមានបានប្រាប់អ្នកលក់ដូរឲ្យទូទាត់ប្រាក់ ជាលុយខ្មែរយើងទេ លោក ឈូក បណ្ឌិត បានឆ្លើយថា «ចុះក្រុងភ្នំពេញមានការទប់ស្កាត់ទេ? នៅក្នុងទីផ្សារយើងមិនបានបិទមិនឲ្យចាយលុយដុល្លា ឬលុយដុងទេ ដូច្នោះយើងចាយធម្មតា លុយស្អីក៏យើងចាយដែរ»។
ពាក់ព័ន្ធនឹងបញ្ហានេះ លោក ចាន់ សុផល អ្នកវិភាគសេដ្ឋកិច្ច បានពន្យល់ឲ្យដឹងថា ការចាយលុយដុងវៀតណាមនៅតំបន់បាវិតនេះ បើនិយាយពីសេដកិច្ច វាមិនបានប៉ះពាល់ ដល់សេដ្ឋកិច្ចនោះទេ «ការចាយលុយនៅតំបន់នេះ គឺវាទាក់ទងទៅនឹងលក្ខខណ្ឌសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងពាណិជ្ជកម្មរវាងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា និងវៀតណាម កាលណាសេដ្ឋកិច្ចប្រទេសណាធំជាង គេតែងតែនិយមចាយលុយប្រទេសនោះហើយ»។
បើតាមលោក ចាន់ សុផល របបទីផ្សារសេរី គឺប្រជាពលរដ្ឋអាចមានសិទ្ធិចាយលុយអ្វីក៏បានដែរ ហើយរដ្ឋអាចដាក់ច្បាប់គ្រប់គ្រង មិនឱ្យចាយលុយដុងរបស់វៀតណាម នោះក៏បានដែរ ក៏ប៉ុន្តែកាលណាយើងដាក់ច្បាប់គ្រប់គ្រង ទៅលើអ្វីដែលប្រជាជនចូលចិត្ត គឺមានន័យថា យើងគ្រប់គ្រងខុសពីទឹកចិត្តរបស់ពួកគាត់ ដូច្នោះវាអាចជាការ រាំងស្ទះទៅវិញ៕

You see now, you must NOT hate Khmer Rouge regime. In Khmer Rouge era, we did not loss any land, all Khmer people had lived freely on Cambodia. There were NO Viet-Youn in our country, we cleaned them, we chased them out of our country.
I wish we would go back to the regime again.
Can Khmer people STOP wearing set of Viet-Youn, Chen-Chinese clothes. I hate to see Khmer people especially women wearing pant instead of Khmer Sarong.

I don't care what people say, but the fact remains the KR regime killed its own people and destroyed Cambodia.
You can blame Vietnam all you want about their plots and their manoeuvre, but the KR leadership is very stupid, too stupid to even consider being equal to animals as animals are much smarter than these fanatical people.
The KR regime is too intolerant of anything that is not theirs to lead a country.
The problem is still remaining with the Cambodian people themselves who choose to use the Vietnamese Dong instead of the Khmer Riel. After all, Cambodia is still using the green bills of America instead of the Khmer Riels.
Cambodia just like any other countries in the world consists of people with different backgrounds as far as ethnicity and race are concerned and it is supposed to be a liberal democratic country so people can wear any kind of clothes they want.
Where do you live? In the US, Canada, Australia or somewhere in Europe?
What do you think if the governments of those countries come up with laws that ban people from using or wearing Krama on their necks or the establishment of Khmer Buddhist Temples in their lands?
CPP government is not the kind of government I would praise or prefer to have run the country. Mark you, I would fight on the same side with them to prevent the return of the brutal and autogenocidal regime of Pol Pot!
You can start your forces in the jungle and I will surely gather my friends and will join the CPP to make your dream of bringing your KR regime back to Cambodia a hollow one.
Believe me your idea has just pushed so many people in Cambodia and elsewhere into the hands of the CPP just to stop the return of your so-called glorious KR regime.

It looks like the above commentors who call themselves believers in freedom of speech are after all no different than the CPP themselves.
Pissed off has the right to be here and voices his opinion just like you. Argue your point to show your intelligence and do not curse to show your savagery. Now you can see why the KR killing fields could take place!
