The more we know the more we become educated, finding out that Khmer Rouges are real Khmer heroes like Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, Khiev Samphan, Noun Chea and all of real Khmer.
There were many secret Yuon/Viet agents (fake Khmer Rouges faces hiding among Khmer Rouges could speak, read and write Khmer language) that killed many Khmer people in the blind eyes of innocent and powerless Khmer people and foreigners.
Khmer heroes like Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, Khiev Samphan, Noun Chea had gone to school and university and they are very good to analyze and not fooled with Yuon/Viet Hanoi masters who played game to sweet Khmer heroes like Pol Pot, Noun Chea, etc. However Pol Pot, Noun Chea and so on were very smart to refuse to join with Yuon/Viet Hanoi secret plans that deceived uneducated Khmer people and leaders like Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, Hun Sen and stupid Khmer people in CPP regime.
Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, Khiev Samphan, Noun Chea are not easy to be fooled by Viet/Yuon Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh masters and agents because Pol Pot, Ieng Sary, Khiev Samphan, Noun Chea are very smart and they have a good education.
Khmer people in Cambodia are stuck with CPP Hun Sen and Yuon/Viet Control. Some Khmer people supported and voted Communist CPP led by Hun Sen and Yuon officials like Sok An, Hor Nam Hong, Sok Kong, and so on. Those CPP Yuon officials and Hun Sen have military backup coming communist Yuon/Viet forces and military. In CPP regime, there are many Yuon bodyguards (can speak, read and write Khmer language)in nice uniform protect ah kwuck Hun Sen and his Yuon cronies including a few brainwashed Khmer military polices and bodyguards.
There are many students in University in Cambodia and in the world know become very well educated and good analysis, knowing black and white, right and wrong, dirty trick and games, politics. Except the Khmer students are from Viet/Yuon families born in Srok Khmer are the enemies and supported their own regime even though they are Khmer citizens and can speak, read and write Khmer languages.
Why are there many Khmer people still living in the dirty and poor places, who have been ignored by the fake Cambodian government under CPP regime led Hun Sen and Yuon cronies/crooks in the administration. It is going to get worse and worse now in CPP Regime and it will collapse soon. There are almost 99 percents of Khmer populations are living in fear and scare because of CPP Yuon military forces and polices from Communist Vietnam hiding among Khmer/Cambodian society in Srok Khmer/Cambodia.
Looking at Khmer people living Khmer Krom (South Cambodia/South Vietnam) have been oppressed with their freedom and living in fear because of Yuon/Viet military forces and polices there. Khmer will rise up soon and want to die to fight back again Yuon/Viet along with Khmer people in Cambodia and Thailand and from around the world, the U.S., Canada, Europe, S. Korea, Japan, etc.
No more secret Yuon agents hiding among Khmer people in Cambodia and around world. Khmer people watch each other, support each others, know each others deeply inside and outside, don't hate each other no matter what, listen to each others and don't forget the enemies like Yuon/Viet who are watching over us Khmer people. So, Khmer people to watch out on the Yuon enemies.

PolPot has been a nationalist of Cambodia.
Mr. Pol Pot is a real Khmer born and not a Chinese from China or Youn from Vietnam like most of the stupid people always insulted him on this KI or Khmerization.

Pol Pot had a strong policy against influxing million of yuon into Cambodia.
Believe it or not Pol Pot had contribution in 1991 Paris Peace Agreement.
PolPot has never been corrupted, he died with empty hands. And his strong wish is that Cambodia must not be perished. Cambodia must survive and becomes strong.

Between 1975-1978 So Phim was a military commander of Heng Samrin and Chea Sim.
Heng Samrin was a military commander of Hun Sen in Eastern Zone.
Note: So Phim was in law with Rhos Nhim ( Rhos Nhim was Secretary Zone of Battambang and Pursat between 1975-1978 ).
So Phim had 2 hight and strong position between 1975-1978 :
1. 4 th number of Central Comittee of the Communist Party of Kampuchea or CPK.
2. Secretary of Eastern Zone from 1975-1978.
Some Khmer Viet Minh who worked alongside with Pol Pot between 1975-178 as follow:

Pol Pot is still a true nationalist even he made a great mistake during his rule. Because he feared sobad about Vietnamese agents who tried to topple him. This fact led him to fase perception that killed people indescrimenately. whoever criticized his policy was Yuon and got killed. Finally, he weakended his own party, the people, and the nation that created a great oppoitunity for Vietnam to take control Khmer until today. What he has said is truely reflected the current situation in Cambodia. Vietnam gradually swallows Cambodia throught its puppet Hun Sen.

In his own words Pol Pot distinguished between the Vietnamese people and the Vietnamese leadership. Pol Po said that the ordinary Vietnamese were mostly good people but the Vietnamese leadership was the wost of its kind. Then he went on to list their names. He said he knew them intimately. He said that the Vietnamese leadership had just one objective and that was to incorporate Cambodia into the IndoChina Federation dominated by Vietnam called in Vietnamese as "3 brothers". He continued to say that while Laos bought into the Vietnamese idea, he refused and at every meeting with the Vietnamese leadership, he requested the Vietnamese leadership to recognize the Cambodia's border but Vietnamese leadership refused and then threatened to militarily suppressed Pol Pot's much smaller forces. Pol Pot went on to say that the Vietnamese leadership strategy had not changed at all and in fact materialized after the takeover of Cambodia which the Vietnamese leadership appropriated more Cambodia's borderland areas through unequal treaties with the Khmer puppets that Vietnamese leadership installed. Pol Pot said that he knew the Vietnamese plans long way when he was living with the Vietnamese camp during the struggle years. Pot Pot went on to say that as Vietnam got accepted as a member of the ASEAN, the Vietnamese leadership changed new tactics and this time the Vietnamese representative in Cambodia aka the Hun Sen regime to suppress and kill off any Khmer nationalists that challenged the Vietnamese hegemony over Cambodia. Then he gave example how Hun Sen led a coup against the first Prime Minister Prince Ranaridth and then massacred Ranaridth's top generals by shooting them in the heads. ... Pol Pot said that he didn't mind dying at all but he wanted to make sure that the Khmer people would never lose their ancestral land to the Vietnamese leadership because the Vietnamese leadership wanted to expand against Cambodia in order to care for their 70 million plus people. Pol Pot said that dying is a part of life process and then he recite the Khmer expression "Old age, Sick, Death". He said that he was old, sick, and now awaiting mortality but he wanted to die nowhere else on this earth except with his people in Cambodia.
People should also note that Pol Pot's policy of genocide against his beloved peoples actually made it very easy for the Vietnamese invaders to come kick his ass out of power in merely 2 weeks. People can say whatever, but the consequences of his policy can never be forgotten at all: Genocide and Foreign Invasion and Dismemberment of Cambodia and Starvation and Years of Zeros and a whole generation of illiteracy and Massive Brain Drains from Cambodia and the Fleeing of Cambodia to another sympathetic countries and unhealed psychological post traumatic stress that continues to haunt the survivors...The list does not stop here...His eloquent patriotic speech in his dying days does not change the fact that he actually destroyed Cambodia and its peoples or his beloved land and people and made it easy for the Vietnamese invaders to come swallow Cambodia whole. Yes that was Pol Pot's nationalist POLICY. Pol Pot was better dead than alive. If he was to be alive he need to be locked up in jail for all eternity because his mind is of destructive evil. A leader should never kill its own people but educate them instead. A leader should look far ahead into the CONSEQUENCES of his actions. Pol Pot talked about how his mind went into overdrive thinking of strategies to defend Cambodia from ending up in Vietnam's throat, but his most clever strategies actually sped up Cambodia to be in Vietnam's throat for 10 long years. If anyone still likes this kind of loser leader, then you are a mindless person who has no clues how many peoples had died by this one man's stupid policies.

Where do the words "Pol Pot's policy of genocide against his beloved peoples" from? Are you the one made all up?
How about the footstep of Ho Chi Minh that Vietnamese leaders and people followed? Do you know what CVPP is? CVPP is Cambodian-Vietnamese People Party that has been created Ho Chi Minh. The signs or symbols of CVPP have hidden or thrown into the water, not allowing Khmer people to know about it. The fishermen found it in the water of Mekong Lake. Do you know CPP will become CVPP later before VPP for their Vietnamese Mission Accomplished in the next many years or decades to come?
Pol Pot know so well about the Vietnamese secret plans from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh. During the Killing Fields, Pol Pot was toppled by the Vietnamese secret agents and leaders including Khmer Vietminh. Khmer Vietminh agents such as Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, Hun Sen, etc and Vietminh pretended to be Khmer Rouges soldiers and worked along side by side with Pol Pot.
Do know that Pol Pot had refused to sign the deals {agreements) with Vietnamese leaders in order to give Khmer/Cambodian islands and land to Vietnam? Are you well aware of Vietnamese ill-intention to swallow Cambodia after Khmer Krom (South Vietnam) to be Indochina before it will become Vietnam Country?
You need to study and do research and help your parents to understand what happened to the Killing fields?
Some Khmer people like you have been fooled by Vietnamese officials and brainwashed Khmer ministers and leaders in the CPP regime led by current Vietnamese puppet Hun Sen.
I am sorry to hear that you are not aware of this.
