Op-Ed by Pissed off
Mr. Ban needs to exert stronger and more pressure on PM Hun Sen to stay clear of and not interfere with the functioning of the ECCC first instead of wasting his time trying to find a new international co-investigation judge who will not be able to work with Mr. You Bun Leng who takes orders directly from the Cambodian government.
Mr. Ban needs to show leadership by demanding the respect of the independence of the ECCC. When that happens, money to finance the court's work will flow in.
Don't put a cart before a horse!
Mr. Ban also knows very well that the problem is not about the selection of the international co-investigation judge, but about whether to proceed to case 003 and 004. Thus, make up your mind, the UN!
A free advice to Mr. Ban: If you want a judge who can work well with Mr. You Bun Leng, appoint the one who does not want the court to proceed past case 002; otherwise, it won't work even though you appoint the judges from either China or Vietnam.

The UN needs to be assertive and shows the Yuon's slve Hun Sen that the UN has learned enough of Vietnam tricks.
Ah Prett You Bun Leng should quit his job. People are sick to see Ah You Bun Leng keeps taking orders from Ah Kwack's master - Vietnam.

We Cambodian victims can blame Hun Sen for blocking ECCC court process, political interferences but Hun Sen alone can’t do as they wish if there are no green light from US who has been behind this ECCC,We must blame US who has been behind UN in this Hanoi ECCC. As I said Hun Sen alone can't do everything they want to if US behind UN did not turn blind eyes to this Hanoi ECCC just look at the deal between this Hanoi ECCC and US behind UN like not allow Nuon Chea and Khieu Samphan to talk before 1975 and after 1979, how about K 5 is Hanoi genocide why Khmer cannot talk about this in this ECCC?
So this ECCC in Cambodia is Hanoi-US ECCC covering their both war crimes and crimes against Cambodian .
All Khmer must know that at least Khmer or Cambodian were killed at least 5 million between 1970s-1980s with K 5 plan and continued to killed every day under the name of land grabbing, land concession and country development under the so-called Hun Sen regime which created by late Ho Chi Minh in 1951 known as the Khmer People’s revolutionary party led by Son Ngoc Minh or better known as Achar Mean who left Cambodia after Geneva conference in 1954 and lived in Hanoi tilled 1972 and passed away in Chinese hospital because of stroke ( high blood pressure ) in 1972 as some website has confirmed.
Shame, shame on Ban and US for giving green light to these bunch of Khmer Viet Minh known as the so-called Hun Sen government.
Instead of touching with these killers of Cambodian people Ban must bring these bunch of killers to this ECCC as Nuon Chea has been demanding to bring Hun Sen, Heng Samrin, Chea Sim and many more to testify in this ECCC.
Instead of touching hand with these killers of Cambodian people Ban must bring Sihanouk to testify in this ECCC as Khieu Samphan demanded.
Shame, shame on Ban toucing hands with the wife of the killer and represent for former Khmer Viet Minh like Heng Samrin, Chea Sim and many more known as the so-called Hun Sen goverment.
Since Mr. Ban Ki-Moon is a Japanese citizen, would the Japanese people and government blame Mr. UN Secretary General for not doing a good job to protect the Khmer/Cambodian victims of Killing Fields?
Japanese government and people have granted several millions of dollars to ECCC. We wonder the Japanese government and people might be very disappointed with Mr. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.
Japan is the biggest and the most generous donor to Cambodia in the world.
Anyone? What would you think of that?
Maybe, Mr. Ban Ki-Moon does not know much about the situations of ECCC and Hanoi are behind of this. We don't want to concentrate on the U.S. issues that the U.S. bombs were dropped in Cambodia during the America War against the Communist Vietnam expansion to South Vietnam (which is Khmer Krom or lower Cambodia). We should give credit to American if American want to rebuild Cambodia as what America had done terribly wrong to Cambodia. America is the most generous country in the world. Don't forget that.
Just focus on the real enemies of Vietnam who are very dangerous to Cambodia nowadays. Just focus on the bad Hanoi's interference to ECCC to block the investigation on the real problems coming from Hanoi who involved the Killing Fields because of the Indochina, the Vietnamese dirty plan or scam to put Cambodia and Laos to Vietnamese annex. Vietnam's threat to China is to accelerate the vast Vietnamese population. Vietnam is a very sick nation on the planet. Vietnamese ill leaders in Hanoi have gone crazy and think like comparing themselves [Vietnam] to American who took land from American Indian, Native American. That ain't going to happen. Vietnamese leaders in Hanoi are crazy to use a dumb Khmer leader Hun Sen to kill Khmer/Cambodian people in the different strategy as step-by-step plan and send many Vietnamese advisers and comrades to make friends with Hun Sen (and other other dumb Khmer/Cambodian monkeys) in order to occupied deeper inside Cambodia, and send the millions of Vietnamese folks (after the Hanoi leaders lied and to them and spread the words about the opportunities in Cambodia).
So, the U.S., UN, EU Unions, Japan, Australia, Canada, S. Korea, and so on should know the ill-intentions, dirty plans, tricks and genocides of Vietnamese ill leaders in Hanoi toward to Cambodian/Khmer people and nation.
