Short Comment of HE Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
It is unfortunate that those who continue to defend the legacy of the Khmer Rouge regime seek, in the interest of their defense, to deflect attention from themselves and their cases, by way of stirring up controversy around public figures like myself. I want to offer this brief statement about my history to dispel this controversy. The Khmer Rouge regime is an epic tragedy that continues to haunt Cambodia's people today. As a prisoner at Boeng Trabek reeducation camp where I lost two sisters, their husbands, children and a niece as well as countless colleagues, I have nothing but sorrow and empathy for the victims and their families. Cambodians continue to suffer from the crimes of the Khmer Rouge even today. The Khmer Rouge not only destroyed a generation of Cambodian people but also, in many ways, a civilization. We are still rebuilding this civilization today. The Extraordinary Chamber in the Courts of Cambodia is a court of law, and not a political forum, and I believe attempts to politicize the court or stir up controversy are inappropriate. (sic!)
My greatest hope is that one day justice is done and the legacy of the Khmer Rouge is given its proper place in the dustbin of history— without defense or controversy.

If ta DUCH is working for HUN SEN'S regime, he'll say the same. HOR NAM HONG, you're not rebuilding cambodia for cambodian... rebuilding for chinese or vietnamese because you and your viet have killed khmers over 3 million, especially most high educated cambodian.. now cambodian need educated chinese or vietnamese to help rebuild the country.
USSR, USA, Viets,and Chinese have khmers blood in their hands. I agree with 2:46pm that it time for them to help to rebuid our khmer country and nation in an honest way or else the souls of the dead will seek revenge and then it will be a never ending story. In buddha we called it 'karma' and in christain we called 'a double edged sword' or 'what you do is what you get' or 'what goes around will come around', under the old testment, it said 'every bad deed, there is a panelty of seven times amount done or seven generations shall bear the curse and if not repent then time seven more years until one is ready to repent and so on. In addition, your sin will be forgiven when you know what you done was wrong. So, it is good that Hor Nom Hong did this, at least he confesses some the mistakes of he and the previous party had done.

Mr. Hor Five Hong where is the public bathrooms in Cambodia. Your country are so fithy and no hygene. People threw trash on the public street and sidewalk.

The Westpoint stars general Hun Maggot came to the United States and did not have a clue and know what to do. When he went back to Cambodia, he did not put his skills into some useful.
Tourists stated they came to Cambodia and they could not eat Cambodia food because Cambodian love prohoke too much. The prohoke is smell bad. I don't know why our people don't evolve for the better.
Not just food, the streets are filthy and garbage is everywhere. Fly and insect roam over the food. Of course, no public bathroom. Some tourist stated they have to pee on the sidewalk.
