Golden memories . . .

A beautiful Cambodian girl with distress and pain etched across her countenance from an early, tender age; her childhood robbed off its innocent, carefree existence and condemned to repeating the fate of her parents and grand parents before her, all of whom born into a time of devastating turmoils and tragedy and into a nation whose destiny lies beyond their power to enforce and in the hands of ruthless "vultures" and predators powerfully and movingly described by Mr Koy Vanna in his songs - School of Vice [image: google]

Switzerland: rich foreign tax packages submitted to referendum

Bad news for all tax exiles living in Switzerland: the country may jeopardize the tax package, a system that allows foreigners to pay a sum of taxes unrelated to their income or real wealth. The canton of Basel has already decided to remove this measure, and Sunday, September 23, it was the turn of the Bern region to decide on the issue.

With our correspondent in Geneva, Laurent Mossu

They are about 250 billionaires installed in Gstaad, the pearl of the alps Swiss shaking. Among them are many Greek shipowners tax longstanding refugees and Johnny Halliday who visits from time to time in his cottage.

Benefit all, this is the reason for their presence, a very advantageous tax regime. They are taxed at fixed not by their wealth or income, but in terms of their spending.

Suffice to say that taxes paid may be classified as insignificant. And it is this imbalance between the taxation of the super rich and the other inhabitants become an issue and push left to react.

Citizens of the canton of Bern which depends Gstaad pronounce this Sunday, September 23 referendum on the outright abolition of the tax package. All monder would be housed in the same boat. One possibility that could scare the easiest.

Yet nothing is done. Even if the country as a whole increasingly reluctant to grant privileges to the richest, voters will think twice before killing the goose that lays golden eggs.

Mr. School of Vice,

You have never failed to earn my sincere respect and deep gratitude for the tireless efforts you have made with KI Media Team to contribute to the eventual liberation of Cambodia from the hands of evils and to the hope for a deserved prosperity of Cambodia and Cambodians. Cambodia and her people have been suffering far too long and this suffering has been unfairly brought upon them by the very people who swear in public to serve, protect and represent them.

The picture of this truly beautiful, young and innocent Cambodian girl and your very well described and ensuing eloquent writing speak very well to the sad reality of Cambodia in our present time.

Mr. Koy Vanna’s songs serve as reminders that the liberation of Cambodia from present state requires the participation of as many Cambodians as possible working together selflessly inside and outside the country as a united force with the sole purpose for a new Cambodia where true freedom, equality of opportunity and prosperity for all reign.

The idea for change in Cambodia is here and you are right with your quote:

“Nothing is more unstoppable than an idea whose time has come”
