I recall three decades ago, Phnom Penh, the Cambodia's capital, as I marched into the city, it was punctuated by the emptiness of buildings and houses and filled with broken roads and bridges, and now the city has morphed into a proud, beautiful and vibrant city. I'm certain that you can guess who transformed this ghost city into a beautifully developed city.
As a democratic country, we not only an ASEAN member, but the chair of ASEAN. Because of this remarkable achievement, we have received numerous praises around the world, even the leader of the free world (Barak Obama) and other leaders. A former Catholic brother facing charges of sexually abusing dozens of children has fled to Sri Lanka after tardy extradition attempts to bring him back from New Zealand where he had been living, says Fairfax Media.
The paper says former St John of God brother Bernard Kevin McGrath, who had served two years in a New Zealand jail for sexually abusing boys there, had 252 abuse charges laid against him in a Newcastle court on June 27.
It says the 65-year-old is alleged to have repeatedly raped, molested and abused dozens of young boys at church-run institutions in the Newcastle-Maitland diocese during the late 1970s and '80s.
NSW police were meant to extradite McGrath to Australia from New Zealand to face charges, but he was allowed to fly out of New Zealand some time after the charges were lodged, Fairfax said.
McGrath is now on a tea plantation in Sri Lanka, where Australia has no extradition treaty.

One great thing I realized is that the Christians are having moral higher than the Islam and the Buddhists. Because when somethings happen like that they'd broadcast for the world to see, so in their community has less scandal than Islam and Buddhists, etc.
As a born Buddhist through Khmer culture, I heard and I have witnessed that Buddhist monks are many bad boys. They impregnated the girls/women with babies then they stole the money from donation to silent their scandal.
A lot of monks in Cambodia drink wine and go out at night, many phone talking with women at night and flirting around.
Our Buddhist society is in hell, but we like to point finger toward others as always. I am not anymore to go to Buddhist Temples, because after I knew/heard about their actions how can I kneel down and bow to those guys again?
It is so sick.
