This monk was no different than the other monks who had joined and protest with villagers but when these monks have the opportunity to be recongnized by some foolish white country, These monks was glady accepted the offer right away, like Award for beeing brave or great human rights activist an so on. But actually these monks did not do anything for the villagers but to participate in the protest like any other protesters. If these monks true goal is to claim and protect human rights they should have left the country to accept the awards from foreigners, instead they should have stayed with the villagers and fight until they get what they have intended from the beginning. Nothing have been accomplished so far for the villagers, but the monk got the award instead, and on top of it all the cambodian expatriates seemed to think this monk has done so much for the cambodian people. This monk received a recognition by using Cambodian people, just like the rest of other guys who claimed to be hero. Cambodian who pratice buddhism should learn more about Buddha's preach. Monks are buddha's pupils, their mission is to help preach and teach buddha's way of life. If you ask cambodian people if they know how to pray whey they go to temple, answer is no. But yet these buddhist cambodian claimed they are the true buddhist people.
Oh! shut up 10:44pm you sound like a jealous monk. Ven. Loun Savath is a role model for other monks in srok khmer .The Ho Chi monk must be ashamed. Sadach sung Tep Vong and Nun Nget know only drink sra and have sex with women.
No actions No results.bad action to get bad results and good action doing to get good results.Ven.Sovath many problem threaten.court charge.arrested from authority.ban from all pagoda to not to staying because of his activity to join solidarity with community advocacy for justice also he is so brave still doing not stop untill he to recieve award but this Award not only the property of him but also for Cambodian he just representative human rights defender in Cambodia recieved instead of all.many monk over 60000 monks in Cambodia why they can dot do like Venerable Sovath because they affraid they scare from the government politict so only 1 monk brave so what ever he supporting from UN to recived Award it is right no corruption.
