SAM RAINSY IN BANGKOK TO ATTEND REGIONAL MEETINGS
Opposition leader Sam Rainsy arrived today in Thailand to attend a number of meetings organized by the Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD), a regional organization grouping 10 political parties from 10 Asian countries: Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand.
Sam Rainsy, who is currently the CALD chair, will preside over a CALD Executive Committee Meeting and will, from November 16 to 19, take part in a CALD Conference on Democratic Transitions and a CALD Seminar on Climate Change.

Sam Rainsy, the main opposition leader in Cambodia, is a HERO or Coward? He afraid to enter Cambodia afraid of arrest or imprison. He stay in France meekly asking Hun Sen, his opponent, to pardon him before he return to Cambodia. Sam Rainsy please a hero think of Gandhi Mandela, Aung Suu Khi..There will be a tremendous amount of political and popular gain to be obtained by Mr. Sam Rainsy if he were to take the advice of above by returning to Cambodia to face the jail sentence during the Asian Summit in Phnom Penh.
His political plight will be in broad daylight and his courage would earn him more respect and, of course, votes and trust among the electorate. Without a doubt his arrival in Phnom Penh unexpectedly at this time would put Hun Sen in a clumsy and precarious position of deciding what to do with Sam Rainsy.
More likely than not Hun Sen will arrest him despite strong objection from western leaders, but the negative pressure created on Hun Sen and his government by the imprisonment of Sam Rainsy will have far reaching and more serious consequences for Phnom Penh than the inconvenience of Mr. Sam living in Prey Sar jail.
It is certainly a suggestion to be considered seriously if one wants to play Cambodian politics which are usually dirty and can be deadly.

Mr. Sam Rainsy has done very good things to save Khmer people who are victims of the land grabbers. Those land grabbers are private firms from Vietnam and illegal Vietnamese crooks who have hiding among CPP clans and acted as Vietnamese dog Hun Sen's dirty advisers. Those Vietnamese CPP business thieves have involved with the business with Chinese Investment when your illegal Vietnamese business thieves as dumb Hun Sen's dirty advisers. Chinese investors and government did not know that your Vietnamese CPP clans are pretending to be Cambodian business men. Just think about it.
Junky CPP courts and judges are really Vietnamese who control the courts and convicted Mr. Sam Rainsy as the political motivation because of your Vietnamese/Yuon CPP thieves grabbed lands from innocent and unarmed Cambodian people who are the real owners. No, Mr. Sam Rainsy left the country because he tried to avoid the injustice conviction from political Kangaroo court influenced by your Communist Vietnamese dog eaters in Hanoi because Mr. Sam Rainsy tried to prevent the victims from the evil and illegal land grabbers from the corrupted CPP officials and Vietnamese thieves at the border with Vietnam. Mr. Sam Rainsy will return home with the help from USA, UN, EU, International Communities, and China.

Anybody who called Sam Rainsy a coward is either a Vietnamese citizen or a Khmer Vietnamese Slave kgnom Yurn). Why should Sam Rainsy receive the prison term as indicted by the nonindependent court controlled by Hun Sen et al? He rightfully pulled the illegitimate d border stick installed by Vietnamese invader.
Hun Sen and his Vietnamese boss desperately want to put Sam Rainsy in Prey Sar Prison, to break his moral and fighting spirit against Hun Sen and Vietnam Imperialist.
We, Cambodian patriots support wholeheartedly the decision of Sam Rainsy not to enter into Cambodia without security guaranteed by international communities and Hun Sen government. Sam Rainsy is the only Cambodian who dares to officially criticize Vietnam for using the following illegal treaties to annex Cambodian territory:
Treaty of July 7. 1982 on historical water agreement in which Cambodia lost 30,000.00 square kilometers of sea water and many island including Kas Tral;
Treaty of July 20, 1083 on principle of resolution of border issues which recognized the free crossing of Cambodian borders and the surge of illegal Vietnamese immigrants and settlers( to date about 4,000,000.00 illegal Vietnamese in Cambodia);
Treaty of December 27, 1985 on border delimitation which recognized new Vietnamese settlement on the demarcation of land borders between the two countries from North to South along 1,230 km of border length;
Treaty of 2005 is a supplemental treaty which legitimize the illegal treaty of 1985.
Why doesn't the Dalai Lama (Tibet spiritual leader, Nobel Peace Prize) go back now to China? Is he a coward?
Why didn't former King Norodom Sihanouk, then head of the anti-Vietnamese Resistance, go back to Vietnamese-occupied Cambodia in the 1980's after being sentenced to life jail sentence by the same Phnom Penh Kangaroo court as the one operating today? Why did he prefer to fight abroad until the signing of the Paris Peace Agreements in 1991? Was he a coward?
