That is just his ignorant unpatriotic comment to benefits Yuon giving up without even trying to fight or at least help stir up awareness that Yuon kept on stealing khmer's land.Please do not label him as Yuon or anyone else it just his ignorant unpatriotic comment.We all must not forget that Koh Tral was/is belong to Khmer then now and forever.Lets move on don't listen to him anymore about his analysis about Khmer and Yuon,we all knew that Kampuchea krom was/is khmer's land and Koh Tral also khmer's land.Please respect other opinion that is not the same as yours we don't need to call him name or disrespect him like many posters using bad language very awful to read or comprehension as a civilize person live in civilize's society with freedom of expression we all have different opinion in all the matters that discussion on all topics none were the same but we have respect the differences,that is a beauty of freedom of speech or freedom of expression.

Dr. Lao Mong Hay is not clear in his comment. He is still Khmer. Youn occasion the break out Khmer.
Khmer must think deeply, and your own judgement about Khmer politics. Youn are everywhere. You must understand that ah Visam is Youn.

this may sound shocking to you, but Lao Mong Hay's comments are neither ignorant nor unpatriotic.
Why some idiots are mad with a man private view on things that none of them could do jack but yet they seem to think being Khmer is the top of all matters. A bunch of rubbishes!!

Before dreaming about taking Kampuchea Krom and Koh Tral back from Viets everyone should try to find a way to remove all viets from Central Cambodia first. With Viets infiltrated every where in Khmer institutions, which include government, national assembly, army, all communes, Tonle Sap, I find it hard for us, Khmers to defend even central Cambodia against Viets ambition. If you cannot even Keep central Cambodia free from Viets influence, what make you think that you can free Kampuchea Krom and Koh Tral from Viets? The way I see, eventually we are not only losing Kampuchea Krom and Koh Tral we will lose central Cambodia completely as well. People are talking about nationalism through keyboard and screen but scare of taking concrete action. Right now Khmer people cannot even bring Hun Sen, who is just Viets puppet, down and on what ground you can think that it's possible to conquer Kampuchea Krom and Koh Tral back from Viets. Dr. Lao maybe right, something we know for sure that it cannot be done why wasting time and bother to think about it. Our primary concern right now is to keep Viets' hand off present Cambodia first. That job fall on those who claim to be patriotic. Speaking means nothing unless followed by actions.

Dr. Lao Mong Hay has fully right to express his opinion related to Khmer Krom and Koh Tral. It is his freedom of speech, however, it makes extreme opposition supporters and extreme Khmer Krom go mad :)
Of course Dr. Lao Mong Hay is right to say that Khmer Krom and Koh Tral issues were done and dushed. If we think about national interest, we should protect our current land and move forward...Indeed, Khmer Krom wants to have independent state seperates from Cambodia. Thus, please don't drag Cambodia into a dispute with Vietnam. Khmer Krom shall do whatever they like against Vietnam but please leave Cambodia alone.
