In the morning of December 13, 2012, Hanoi Capital’s delegation led by H.E Mr. PHAM Quang Nghi, Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Secretary of Hanoi Capital City Communist Party, accompanied by H.E MAP Sarin, Chairman of Phnom Penh Capital Council and H.E KHUONG Sreng, Deputy Governor paid a visit the Hanoi Street constructed in 2004 by the budget donated from Hanoi City in the amount of 300,000 USD together with the 220,000 USD of the Capital Hall.

During the visit, H.E Mr. PHAM Quang Nghi confirmed that Street had firmly showed the affection of Hanoi’s citizens to Phnom Penh’s residents; and moreover, if comparing to previous years, Phnom Penh had been changed rapidly because that area used to be a paddy fields with a narrow roads difficult to travel but it had been developed especially in public buildings, housing complex and transportation paralleled with both cities’ vision that focused on the development of roads, schools, and hospital etc…
