Part I
****Why Cambodians Hate Viets and Proof of What Viets created in Cambodia****
By the seventeenth century, the Vietnamese had reached the Mekong Delta, which was inhabited by Khmer people. In 1623, the Vietnamese requested the Khmer king Chey Chettha II to allowed them to establish a custom-house at Prey Nokor (Saigon/HCHC) to collect taxes from the Vietnamese settlers living in the Khmer territory. However, gradually, the Vietnamese took control of the region and detached from Cambodia.
For the next one hundred years they used the alleged mistreatment of Vietnamese colonists in the delta as a pretext for their continued expansion at the expense of the Khmer people. By the end of the 18th century, the Vietnamese had annexed sizable areas of contiguous Cambodian territory in the region of the Mekong Delta.
Under the Vietnamese arbitrary treatment of the Khmer population, the suffering and the dislocation caused by war were comparable in many ways to similar Cambodian experiences in the 1970s. The Vietnamese regarded the fertile Khmer lands as legitimate sites for colonization by settlers from Vietnam.
Before WWII, the Vietnamese created the Indochinese Communist Party. Then the Vietnamese created a separate communist party called the “Khmer People’s Revolutionary Party” (KPRP) to struggle for independence from the French. Pol Pot became a member of the KPRP. Most KPRP leaders and rank-and-file were ethnic Vietnamese living in Cambodia. However, in 1953, Prince Sihanouk had achieved independence for Cambodia from France without the help of the Vietnamese created KPRP. The Vietnamese were so angry. So in April 1954, In April 1954, several Viet Minh battalions crossed the border into Cambodia. Prince Sihanouk’s forces could not force them to withdraw from the country. After Cambodia won its independence from France, over 1,000 members of the KPRP made a “"Long March" into North Vietnam, where they remained in exile. However, those KPRP members who chose to stay in Cambodia created a new political party called Pracheachon Party. It went underground in 1962 and Prince Sihanouk labeled these leftists as the “Khmer Rouge”.
When the Khmer Rouge tried to take over Cambodia by force, the North Vietnamese came to help their KPRP members by sweeping the government forces from the entire northeastern third of Cambodia. The North Vietnamese turned the won territories over to the Khmer Rouge forces. Pol Pot's debt to the North Vietnamese after March 1970 was one that he was loath to acknowledge; however, it is clear that without North Vietnamese and Viet Cong assistance, Pol Pot’s revolutionary struggle would have dragged on much longer than it did. ...Continued to Part II

After taking over Cambodia, Pol Pot called his administration the Democratic Kampuchea regime. However, the Vietnamese thought that Pol Pot was straying too far from their sphere of influence. So in January 1979, the Vietnamese decided to force Pol Pot out of power from Cambodia. The Vietnamese were successful and they installed another Vietnamese friendly KPRP member (Heng Samrin) as the puppet ruler of Cambodia. At the end the Vietnamese effectively assumed control over Cambodia’s government and communist party.
When Cambodia was under their military control, the Vietnamese started to renege on the border agreements they had made with Cambodia in 1970. Nguyen Co Thach said that the Cambodia situation is irreversible because the IndoChina Union concept was materialized. Then they exploited Cambodia’s timber, minerals, and fish resources worth hundreds of millions of dollars in eastern Cambodia and the great lake. Then they allowed illegal Vietnamese immigrants to settle in key economic areas in Cambodia. The Vietnamese made Cambodia’s hunger problem worse, and more Cambodians died as a result of a famine across the whole country. The Vietnamese troops systematically pillaged Cambodian shops, homes, and Buddhist temples. They took back to Hanoi machines, household appliances, furniture, Buddha heads, and donated rice intended for Cambodian refugees. The Vietnamese did not allowed the international large-scale relief efforts of food into Cambodia to help the starving Cambodians. One Western diplomat said, “The Vietnamese simply don't give a damn about what happens to the Cambodians." The Vietnamese troops laid hundreds of thousands of landmines in Cambodia. Under the Vietnamese occupation of Cambodia, torture and arbitrary executions remained a feature of life for many Cambodians. The worst abuse of human rights was perpetrated by the colossal Vietnamese created K-5 Plan, the intention of which was to seal the border to Thailand by a combination of deforestation, dykes, canals, strategic fences, and minefields. This ambition caused thousands of deaths: out of the labour force of some 120.000 used for the realization of this plan, over 50.000 died because of working in some of the worst terrain in Cambodia, containing not only dangerous minefields, but also thick forests, full of malaria.
Regarding what the Vietnamese did FOR the Pol Pot’s troops, here is one observation: “Vietnamese troops outnumbered the Khmer Rouge 7 to 1, but despite brilliant planning and opportunities, the Vietnamese never once used every single opportunity to maul the Khmer Rouge and destroy its combat capability: instead the Vietnamese allowed a considerable number to retreat to their traditional strongholds in the Cardamom Mountains. Even under the protection of the victorious Vietnamese forces, the remaining Khmer Rouge forces always managed to swoop down at night to attack and kill the defenseless Cambodian village inhabitants. It remains unclear how could Hanoi let this happen. However, many observers concluded that Hanoi could never destroy their Khmer Rouge friends whom they created and supported. Hanoi noted clearly that puppet government in Cambodia was largely consisting of former Khmer Rouge members: the new president, Heng Samrin, for example, had held a high rank in the Rouge and was one of the politicians directly responsible for the implementation of the genocidal politics. Hun Sen (later Prime minister), Chea Sim, and Math Ly (members of the national assembly), Kang Sarin, Ney Penna, Nou Beng and others were all former Khmer Rouge, and responsible for some of the worst atrocities in the Eastern Province."

There are so many recurring themese in the history of Khmer-Viet relations.
The days after the yuon invasion, their mouthpiece Nhan Dan declared that: The Khmer and Vietnmaese people who had a mutual relation back to the Dong Son culture are now reunified (sic!).
We need to be good neighbours to each other, of course; but not a one-sided relation where you are forced at gun point to sign any treaties put in front of you-only the like of cow thieves and bumpkins Hun Xen, Heng Samrin, and their CPP clowns would do that.

After the fall of Sihanouk in 1970, the North Vietnamese and the Viet Cong began transferring their military installations away from the border area to locations deeper within Cambodian territory. However, on January 27, 1973, betraying their allies the Khmer Rouge, North Vietnam signed the Paris Peace Accords with the United States to stop all bombing missions over Vietnam and Laos. The fighter bombers and other aircraft thus released were diverted to strike Khmer Rouge positions in Cambodia.
Not trusting the Vietnamese allies no more, Pol Pot decided to remove all North Vietnamese military forces from Kampuchean territory shortly after the Khmer Rouge capture of Phnom Penh in 1975.
The first clash was on the island of Koh Tral on May 1975. The second clash was in Tho Chu. The Vietnamese invaded Cambodia’s island of Koh Wai in June 1975.
Towards the end of 1976, the Vietnamese wanted to exert its control over Pol Pot’s communist party created by the Vietnamese. However, the Vietnamese realized that their position inside Cambodia was weak as there were no pro-Vietnamese elements left within the Pol Pot Communist Party.[26]
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Van Dong and General Secretary of the Communist Party Le Duan hoped to exercise greater influence on the Khmer Rouge. In a private meeting with the Soviet ambassador to Vietnam on 16 November 1976, Le Duan dismissed both Ieng Sary and Pol Pot as "bad people".[26] Le Duan hoped to exercise Vietnamese influence through Nuon Chea instead.
However, the Khmer leadership learned of the Vietnamese intention, and they started to purge the first group of North Vietnamese-trained Khmer Rouge personnel returned to the country.
On June 7, 1979, the Vietnam People's Army moved its troops into the disputed areas. Pol Pot demanded that Vietnam remove all of its military units from the disputed areas, and create a demilitarised zone between the opposing forces.[28]
On December 16, 1977, the Vietnam People’s Army assembled eight divisions, estimated at around 60,000 soldiers, with support from elements of the Vietnam People's Air Force, crossed the border along several axes with the objective of forcing the Kampuchean Government to negotiate.[29]
On 31 December 1977, Khieu Sampham declared that the Kampuchean Government would "temporarily" sever diplomatic relations with Vietnam until the Vietnamese military withdraw from the "sacred territory of Democratic Kampuchea".[30] On 6 January 1978, Vietnamese divisions were only 38 kilometers (24 mi) from Phnom Penh, but the Vietnamese Government decided to withdraw its forces from Kampuchea because they had failed to achieve Vietnam’s political objective. During the withdrawal, the Vietnamese military also evacuated thousands of prisoners and civilian refugees, including future leader Hun Sen.[30]

7 Makara was a bad day for our motherland, Cambodia. Under the pretext of liberating Cambodia, Vietnam invaded and occupied a big portion of Cambodian land in the eastern border of Cambodia and about 30,000 square kilometers of Cambodian maritime territories including our biggest island Kah tral.
We, Khmer nationalists, should support our patriotic leaders, Sam Rainsy and Kem Sokha to win the national election first and then use all legal means such as International court of Justice at the Hague and the United Nations based on Cambodia Map deposited at the UN in 1963.
Sam Rainsy is the best Kaun Khmer patriot who dares to declare that Vietnam is the new colonialist that annexed most of Cambodian territory. That is why he is the only Khmer that Vietnam is afraid of. Vietnam try by all mean to eliminate him from Cambodia by using its puppet government and kangaroo court in Cambodia to deny Sam Rainsy in entering Cambodia.
This is the 21st century; Vietnam can not colonize Cambodia as the last century. The 1991 Paris Peace Agreement signed by 19 signatory countries including Cambodia and Vietnam will protect Cambodia against Vietnam's occupation.

If Vietnam wants to be a good neighbor of Cambodia, it should have let United Nations take over Cambodia after removing Pol Pot from power in Phnom-Penh.
Vietnam should never have occupied Cambodia for 10 years from 1979 to 1989 and sent 6 millions of Vietnamese illegal immigrants to exploit the natural resource of Cambodia and annexed a few thousand squares kilometers of lands and 30,000. square kilometers of maritime territories including our big island Kah Tral.

How to liberate Cambodia from the evil nation Vietnam?
We all have known that Vietnam wanted to swallow Cambodia a long time ago, but we have never drawn a solid plan to counter Vietnam’s ambition.
After its full invasion on Cambodia in 1979, Vietnam has controlled almost all areas in Cambodia, including the Khmer soul Angkor Wat.
Recently, the CNRP has requested the puppet government to overhaul the NEC, but its request has been blatantly denied by the government, and the outcome of this 2013 election will be the same – the puppet party will win again.
Even though we know that the result will be the same, we should participate in the election because the international community will not put enough pressure on the puppet government to cancel the election. Whatever number of the MPs we get, we fight from there along with the idea of mounting the mass demonstration to reclaim Angkor Wat back.
We have denounced the unfair election – by walking peacefully - to the world in the past, but we did not receive favorable response from them. So, if we make any peaceful demonstration to deplore the fraudulent election after this July 2013 election, we will surely not get much support from Khmer people and the international community.
To produce a different output, we must insert a different input.
Khmer people have agreed that Angkor Wat represents Khmer soul, and Hun Sen has allowed a Vietnamese, Sok Kong, to control it. This traitorous act committed by Hun Sen is far beyond belief, but Khmer people has never attempted to make Hun Sen pay the price for his crime.
Our ultimate goal is to liberate Cambodia from Vietnam. Where is the foundation or a universal motive – support by Khmer people and the international community - for that liberation?
