So, Vietnam and its puppet "tool" must sabotage the CNRP in order to prevent it from winning this upcoming election and consequently deny Cambodia the right to have a well educated Sam Rainsy as Prime Minister.
The IRI's poll showed that the CNRP is comfortably ahead of the CPP.
But time has evolved sharply in the last 2 decades, heavily favoring the victims worldwide.
There is help but we must help ourselves first.
The International Criminal Court (ICC), which officially started its function in 2003, would help deter and prosecute the oppressors.
If the 1997 coup d'Etat reoccurs in 2013 or 2014 in Cambodia, the leaders of the new coup d'Etat will be surely prosecuted by the ICC.
If Vietnam initiates a fake civil war in Cambodia, Vietnam won’t survive a massive economic sanction from the powerful countries. That’s why Khmer people must not give up their noble struggle to save our motherland and vote for the CNRP. We will survive at last and we will expose Vietnam’s criminals acts against Khmer people to the world. Otherwise, Vietnam will keep interfering, dominating, and absorbing Cambodia as part of Vietnam.
We must stop allowing the criminals go unpunished. We must fiercely fight back to bring them to face justice. It is fortunate that the world has recently created the International Criminal Court (ICC) to prosecute any individual or group who commit crime against humanity. We must expose those criminals to the ICC.

I think Pol Pot not only protected Koh Tral but also want to take back Kampuchea krom too.
The reason lead the Vietcong to invade Cambodia because Pol Pot troops is fighting against the Vietcong for Kampuchea Krom during 1977-1979 but unfortunately, they failed because they don't have enough man power or weapons.

To understand KR. First we must look back all the way to pre WW II. France governed Indo-China. Khmer Isarak was created to opposed French colonialism. After WW II Japanese lost WW II , the Japs stupidity handed over large stockpile of weapons to Viet Minh. Viet Minh strengths were boost by this Jap's gifts. So Khmer Isarak's movements then was hijacked by Youn. In the late 50's Pol Pot & his colleagues saw that Sihanouk's neutrality policies will get Cambodia destroyed by the West or Communist. So Pol Pot joined Communist Khmer Isarak later real Khmers were able to wrestled the Communist movements from Youn. Now Khmer Rough many Youns & Youn's agents within Khmer Rough ranks were decimated but still small Youn agents survivedby Pol Pot. Ever since KR
never trust Youn again. KR troops begin small border and islands fighting with Youn. Finally, in 1977 when Pol Pot tried numerous times to get Youn to respect Cambodia 1967 border agreements. Khmer Rough launched a full invasion into Kampuchea Krom provinces. First, KR troops were successful gaining at least 30 kilometers into Kampuchea Krom. Then Youn used it's assets within Pol Pot's KR ranks to destabilize KR regimes by created a genocidal policies which put Khmers distrust Khmers. Pol Pot knew Youn was up to so he stupidity purged other KR members & suspect civilians and usually ended killing the innocent Khmers. KR troops who were inside Kampuchea Krom now facing defeat because Youn's agents such as ( Heng Samrin, Chea Sim, Pen Sovan, Hun Sen, Sar Keng, others switched side with Youn. Many KR divisions were either killed, captured, defected. Pol Pot KR feeling betrayed now looking for revenge and usually end up killing the innocent Khmers because KR simply do not have a good counter-intelligent agency. The old KR saying
" BY KILLING TEN PEOPLES AROUND ME IT IS AT LEAST I GOT ONE YOUN'S SPY and also believed that loosing lterritories is more important than Khmer lives."
