Why do Koh Tral Island, known in Vietnam as Phu Quoc, a sea and land area covering proximately over 30,000 km2 [Note: the actual land size of Koh Tral itself is 574 square kilometres (222 sq miles)] have been lost to Vietnam by whose treaty? Why don’t Cambodia government be transparent and explain to Cambodia army at front line and the whole nation about this? Why don't they include this into education system? Why?
Cambodian armies are fighting at front line for 4.6 km2 on the Thai border and what's about over 30,000km2 of Cambodia to Vietnam. Nobody dare to talk about it! Why? Cambodian armies you are decide the fate of your nation, Cambodian army as well as Cambodian people must rethink about this again and again. Is it fair?
Koh Tral Island, the sea and land area of over 30,000 square kilometres have been lost to Vietnam by the 1979 to 1985 treaties. The Cambodian army at front line as well as all Cambodian people must rethink again about these issues. Who signed the treaty 1979-1985 that resulted in the loss over 30,000 km2 of Cambodia??? Why they are not being transparent and brave enough to inform all Cambodians and Cambodian army at front line about these issues? Why don't they include Koh Tral (Koh Tral size is bigger than the whole Phom Phen and bigger than Singapore [Note: Singapore's present land size is 704 km2 (271.8 sq mi)]) with heap of great natural resources, in the Cambodian education system?
Look at Hun Sen's families, relatives and friends- they are billionaires, millionaires. Where did they get the money from when we all just got out of war with empty hands [in 1979]? Hun Sen always say in his speeches that Cambodia had just risen up from the ashes of war, just got up from Year Zero with empty hands and how come they are billionaires, millionaires but 90% of innocent Cambodian people are so poor and struggling with their livelihood every day?
To me, Ou Vireak is too young to analyse the situation or even the experiences in the law and civil society. Even the way he is represented himself is just like the kid. He is just trying to woo the girls and enjoy his Karaoke. He is trying to please HUN SEN as he expects to get the chance to be involving in robbing the nation. I believe that he uses the NGO as the tools for his interest and his master yuon and hun sen. He is not standing neutrality as in the position of civil society. I am reasonable.
As an observer of Khmer politics, I can see that the Hun Sen administration has mismanaged many things in the last 3 decades. I can also see that those who are close to high ranking members of the government are doing very well while the poor continues to be poor.
Mismanagement is entirely different from treason. I would not call any Khmer a traitor for I do not have firsthand knowledge as what actually happened. Hearsays and innuendos can cloud my judgment. I also know that perception can be dangerous. My goal in life is to be a good citizen of our nation and not to be a pawn of any political party.
You may have firsthand knowledge of what happened in our country more than I do. I encourage you to pursuit whatever you need to do make you feel better. From your previous writing, you know that you are more educated than I am. You go for it.
As an uneducated man, I simply cannot see our nation the way you see it. All I know is that our nation is in a transition. This last election proved that we are moving forward. With all the problems we encounter after the election, our nation is still in a better place than we were 30 years ago. I see that our people understand their rights and their responsibilities much better. I feel good about that.
Regime comes and goes. Loving my fellow Khmer is much more important than winning a cheap thrill of wining political contest or argument. I am proud of myself for not involving in Khmer politics. I just love to observe.
By the way, if you look up the definition of reasonable, it simply means having sound judgment, fair, and sensible. I know I have sound judgment, fair, and sensible. Therefore, I am reasonable.

In life what people need to know is what is right and what is wrong! For the past 3 decades AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave has done Cambodian people wrong and it is up to Cambodian people to make it right by demanding justice according to Cambodian constitution! For every year AH HUN SEN to remain in power to commit mismanagement and wrong doing and it will cost Cambodian people $500 million in corruption. Now can Cambodian people afford that much more times...Now imagine just take a fraction of this money put into education,job training, job development, promote small businesses, improve healthcare, improve public hygiene, improve roads and bridges...endless possibility!
It is so sad to say that Cambodia is the most backward and dirty country in Southeast Asia and it is because Cambodian people are so reasonable with their government and they don't demand result!

When it comes to the government’s activities, you know much more than I do. I am not sure if my conjecture of what’s wrong with the government would have any gravity in our discourse.
Yes, I was asked to take side many times. I decide not to choose because I don’t like any of them. It is my prerogative not to take side. I don’t like any of current Cambodian political parties. When a party comes along and it ideology aligns with mind, I will be sure to make my choice.
By the way, when you become a head of political party, I will take a harder look. Your current passion in politics almost convinces me to join. And we all know almost does not count.
When it comes to our dirty little country in Southeast Asia, I can only agree with you categorically in a sense that people are reasonable (I still believe in our people). And they start demanding responsibility and result by voting. This last election was good evidence.
