Whereas the heated situation in Cambodia today, such as problems related to recent countless voting irregularities, political instability, and human rights, we the Cambodia National Rescue Party of Washington State (CNRP-WA) and Cambodian- Americans and communities in the State of Washington and other states including Oregon and Vancouver BC, Canada along with other places throughout the world will host a mass rally as stated above. We also would like to invite all colleagues, friends, compatriots, media, and the public at large to join us
TO REQUEST
- Investigate the voting irregularities in the Cambodia
Election 2013
- Stop the armed forces mobilization in Cambodia
- Pressure the
Cambodian Government to honor the Paris Peace Agreement 1991 commitment and the
Universal Declaration of Human Rights
Cambodia is systematically
moving away from democracy and from its international obligations signed under
the Paris Peace Agreement over two decades ago on October 23, 1991. Therefore,
we call upon the United Nations and the Signatory Countries to honor their
commitment by taking the necessary actions to enforce their agreements
concerning Human Rights, Sovereignty, Independence, Neutrality, and National
Unity of Cambodia.
