Japanese PM greets Hun Sen for being re-elected as Cambodian prime minister

Does Prime Minister Shinzo Abe know that he's congratulating a Blood Sucker?

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe extended his congratulations to Hun Sen for being re-elected as the prime minister of Cambodia for another five-year term after his ruling party won the July 28 election.

"On behalf of the government and the people of Japan, I would like to express my congratulations to you for being re-elected as the prime minister of Cambodia and for the formation of a new government," he said in a message to Hun Sen that was released to the media by Cambodia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday.

"I wish to see further progress in the parliamentary democracy through dialogue and cooperation between the ruling party and the opposition party so that Cambodia (can) implement various measures steadily toward economic and social development under your leadership," he said.

Abe added that Japan would continue to actively support Cambodia in its nation-building efforts.

"I will actively cooperate with you in order to make closer ties between Japan and Cambodia and to strengthen cooperation in seeking solutions to issues on international arenas," he said.

Hun Sen, 61, who had been in power for 28 years, was re-elected as the prime minister of Cambodia on Sept. 24 by his ruling party's formed parliament as the opposition party's lawmakers boycotted the parliamentary session since they refused to accept the results of the July 28 election.

Opposition leader Sam Rainsy said last Wednesday that his party did not recognize the Hun Sen-led government, claiming that the newly-formed government was a violation of the constitution.

However, Hun Sen defended that his government was "legitimate" since the nation's King Norodom Sihamoni had already given endorsement.

Japanese ONLY do what best for their own interests. They had aided and invested billions in Scambodia and wanted their returns. Hun Sen gave Japs oil company for the right to tap oil in the Gulf of Thailand. I had said over, over, over again NO ONE IN THIS WORLD GIVE A DAME UNLESS YOU DO IT YOURSELF. KHMER HAD TO TAKE MATTER IN THEIR OWN HANDS. Countries all around the world didn't earned their freedom and independent by peaceful protests. They paid with blood I hated to say it. Especially a peaceful protests against thieves CPP/HANOI where rights &
wrongs are not in their minds. North America, European Union, Australia they are waiting for us to start ourselves first before they act. These free countries can't budge in another state unless gross war crimes or international laws are been violated. I still hope a peaceful ways can still happen in this crises.

Japanese gov't support Hun Sen. .? It is sick..! I thought Japan is a country endorsed democracy and the July election in Cambodia was rigged with eregularities and fraud. How could Japan did that without seeing the right and wrong?

My extend wish to Japan is to have Japan gets along well with China when both side claim a dispute island.
The same as PM Abe wishes the good cooperation between CNRP and CPP when the voting problems have not been solved.
Easy to say from outsider.

Peaceful pray is fruitless it will have no effect on cpp, hun sen loves this style chosen by Rainsy who falling into its own trap, why hun sen loves this?
1- it has no impact on his regime whatsoever.

2- it shows the world that he's liberal by allowing this strike to happen

As we all have seen now Japan already recognized his new Government already!
