ខេត្តកោះកុង ៖ ជនសង្ស័យម្នាក់ដែលគេអះអាងថា បាញ់សម្លាប់មន្ត្រីប៉េអឹម និងប្រធានអង្គការការពារបរិស្ថានក្នុងបុព្វហេតុរារាំងដំណើរអ្នកកាសែតបរទេស២នាក់ (នារីខ្មែរម្នាក់ និងនារីអ៊ុយក្រែនម្នាក់) មិនឱ្យចូលទៅក្នុងជំរំស្តុកឈើប្រណីតនោះត្រូវបានកម្លាំងប៉េអឹមស្វែងរកឃាត់ខ្លួនបានហើយ កាលពីវេលាម៉ោងជាង៣រសៀលថ្ងៃទី១ ឧសភា ២០១២ នៅជិតក្រុមហ៊ុនកាប់ឈើតែម្តង គឺដេប៉ូទី១ ហៅវាល៣ ។
ខ្មាន់កាំភ្លើងដែលសង្ស័យថា សម្លាប់មន្ត្រីប៉េអឹម និងប្រធានអង្គការការពារបរិស្ថានដែលឃាត់ខ្លួននេះឈ្មោះរ៉ាន់ បូរ័ត្ន អាយុ៣១ឆ្នាំ ជាបុគ្គលិកក្រុមហ៊ុនកាប់ឈើខាងលើ ទទួលបន្ទុកការងារសន្តិសុខ ។ ខ្មាន់កាំភ្លើងឈ្មោះរ៉ាន់ បូរ័ត្ន បាននិយាយថា ក្នុងហេតុការណ៍បាញ់ប្រហារនាំឱ្យស្លាប់២នាក់នោះ គឺមានសាក្សីដែលបានឃើញព្រឹត្តិការណ៍នេះចំនួន៤នាក់ទៀតជាអ្នកធ្វើការក្នុងក្រុមហ៊ុនកាប់ឈើដែរ... រ៉ាន់ បូរ័ត្ន មិនទាន់និយាយអ្វីទូលំទូលាយនៅឡើយទេក្នុងរឿងនេះ ។

Koh Santepheap provides clarification on its weird news: Merely a publicity stunt?
Dear Readers,
On Wednesday 28 April 2010, our colleague Heng Soy posted an English translation of an article posted on the frontpage of the Koh Santepheap website regarding an allege $1 million auction for a Cambodian woman by the name of Miss Nuon Neang Lom-orng. While the bottom of the article stated that: Film article "Ath-bot Khser Pheap-yon", it is not clear whether the article was real or not as a contact phone number and email address were also provided. Heng Soy did clearly note that "this article could be a HOAX by Koh Santepheap to advertise a Thai movie". In anticipation of possible controversies surrounding this article, Heng Soy also made a copy of the article posted by Koh Santepheap on Wednesday as shown below:
Finally, it makes it clear that the article is an excerpt from a movie script. While we apologize for this situation which is beyond our control, we leave it up to you to judge whether Koh Santepheap omit the note about "the excerpt from a movie script" intentionally to generate a publicity stunt and/or to increase its readership on purpose or not.

THE publisher and editor-in-chief of The New Liberty News, a pro-Sam Rainsy Party newspaper, were questioned Thursday morning by Municipal Court Deputy Prosecutor Plang Sophal in connection with a defamation and false information case filed by the publisher of the pro-government newspaper Koh Santepheap.
A March 10 article in The New Liberty News claimed that Koh Santepheap's publisher, Thong Uy Pang, and his wife were denied an entry visa to the United States in 2003 because American officials believed they were involved in human trafficking.
"I was very angry and anxious about this article, which badly insulted me without accurate evidence and wrongly charged me with involvement in human trafficking," Thong Uy Pang told the Post Thursday.
Sek Rady, editor-in-chief of The New Liberty News, stood by the story in an interview with the Post.
"We had accurate evidence to support the story," he said. "At that time [the US embassy in Phnom Penh] did not accept his visa. The embassy considered him to be involved in human trafficking and put him on its black list."
He said he had been told by Plang Sophal that the court was currently investigating the complaint, in which Thong Uy Pang is asking for US$100,000 in damages.
