PRESS CONFERENCE ON THE BOYCOTT BY SRP MPs OF THE COMING NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SESSIONS

SRP Members of Parliament have the pleasure to invite journalists, members of the diplomatic corps and interested observers to a Press Conference to be held on Wednesday 16 November 2011 at 10:00 am at the Party Headquarters located at 576 National Road Number 2, Chak Angre Leu, Phnom Penh.

At tomorrow’s Press Conference, Opposition Leader Sam Rainsy will respond to Prime Minister Hun Sen regarding:
- the SRP initiative to block the coming sessions of the National Assembly in order to prevent ratification of controversial external borrowings
- comparison between Hun Sen and some recently-deposed dictators.
The SRP will resume its participation in the National Assembly sessions when the CPP-led government accepts:
1. a moratorium on land grabbing and forced evictions in line with a recent Appeal by the United Nations
2. a change in the composition of the National Election Committee in line with the recommendation of the European Union.

If you are useless MP, your voice is useless, thus, it is useless to participate in the National Assembly sessions.
*The PROBLEM BETWEEN SRP and HRP are not cause from Leaders Head,Cause from High range members working for CPP.
