PM: More Car-Smuggling Officials May Be Fired

Prime Minister Hun Sen said Saturday that he would summon both Minister of Defense Tea Banh and Interior Minister Sar Kheng to discuss removing more officials involved with smuggling right-hand drive cars. "There are more officials [to be fired]—the higher-ranking officials," the prime minister at a ceremony in Kandal province. Military police and provincial authorities were involved in smuggling over 1,000 right-handed cars, Hun Sen said. "I didn't allow the import," he said. "I told [you], but you are not afraid so if you are not afraid, there is only punishment that will make you afraid."

Cambodia is ruled by orders, why not by laws? This is the big problem for the society because law is neglected by even PM. It is still the problem if PM wants officials to be afraid of him instead of enforcing the existing laws. Until the PM and government officials enforce the law then, the society can be progress. So please rule the country by laws, and do not rules by orders through media while meeting people in countryside. When meeting with people in countryside just talk what those people want or listen to their problems, instead of talking about the people who are not there such as city people or government officials who are not present in the meeting. Most of the time, PM talk things to wrong audience who are gathered to listen for wrong topic.
Is it also a root cause of poverty while people spend alot of time to listen for nothing instead of espressing their needs and problems?
