Nhiek Bun Chhay admits that Funcinpec lost votes

Nhiek Bun Chhay, Funcinpec secretary-general, admits the decline of votes supporting his party during the 2007 commune election, in comparison to 2002. Nhiek Bun Chhay explained on Radio France Internationale (RFI) that the cause of this decline was due to the reform he undertook close to the election, this led to the division of the party where one group left to join the NRP. He also added that at the local level, people are confused between Funcinpec and the NRP, thus causing the voters to hesitate to vote for either party. Nhiek Bun Chhay also said that according to the poll numbers, the number of voters have dropped by 30 to 40%, he said that the people who did not show up to vote are actually Funcinpec would-be-voters who hesitated on who to vote for.

Personally, I am very sad to hear that less and less FUNCINPEC supporters turn out to vote. This really relates to cause and effect. The fact is that if no party splits or a Party-Coup d'Etat, more FUNCINPEC supporters would have shown their support by votes.
FUNCINPEC splits have made their supporters drop in the uncertainty, the lack of trust and disappointment.
FUNCINPEC did all the wrong things and it is too late to make any correcttion. It will melt like the wax under the sun heat and like the salt in water. CPP was playing the tricks to undermine you (FUNCINPEC) from within. You and all other FUNCINPEC leaders are crazy. You can never regain the people's support.
You are happy when you could kick Ranaridh out from FUNCINPEC. But CPP lackeys are much happier as they could destroy FUNCINPEC to the root. Yah, Kill Two Birds at One Stone.
This is a lesson you can never learn again, and a worst mistake you can never correct.

I am inclined to beleive many if not most of the votes FUN recieved were meant for NRParty; a lot of FUNCIPEc signs in rural places sitll say" Office of Prince N. R", although the prince was kicked out already.

FUNCINPEC &NRP spent alot of effort, resources to Bite each other...for their own personal affairs not much relating to politics or National Intersts...
and they claimed to be disturbed by other parties..THEY FORGOT TO LOOK AT MIRROR TO REFLEX THEMSLVES...how their faces are ugliest....
They should have known that as usual in politics Competitor's Traps are always put along the Trails/ Track

Unity" seems to be far away for all those who considered themselves as nationalists or Democrats(SRP/FUN/NRP/THOMICO etc..), because some leaders of those are not mentally/spiritually strong enough which can be easily to be divided by someone[Diviser pour gouverner..)as we had a lot of experiences since 1990s...
Type of guy such as Ranaridth will find in advance his own interests after nation's (Dollars/some Temporary partial power/Srey, Sra.. } they are so easy to be spoiled with those things...Good tactics of their competitors(CPP) to defeat them.. it is dificult to say that their competitor use evil means, normally this tactics/strategy are to be applied worldwide especially in developing countries.....
If those so-called Democrat Unity wants to win they shall pay more attention to this matter, CLEAN THEIR-OWN FACES/OR ASSES PRIOR TO CLEAN SOME OTHER'S ASS...
Look at Simple example, Prior to that Ranarith was in Full Power as Co-PM in early 1990s he committed diferently, while being in Power he & his high Ranking Officials were spoiled by Dollars Srey Sra etc,,,led to his collapse later on in early 2000s the same thing repeatedly happened....
And their competitor gets edequate means(Finance-Human resources/Full Power in hands)to defeat them.
Therefore, UNITY between them is seemed to be unexpected.........
