The Sam Rainsy Party reacted against a Cambodian diplomat in Geneva who demanded that the UN remove Yash Ghai, the UN Special Envoy on Human Rigths in Cambodia, from his position.

This week, during a discussion at the trimester meeting on human rights condition in various countries organized in Geneva between 11 and 18 June, Chheang Vun, the Cambodian representative at the UN, reacted angrily against Miloon Khotari and Yash Ghai, both of whom are UN officials, regarding the human rights violation issue in Cambodia.

Chheang Vun said that the (Yash Ghai’s and Miloon Khotari’s) reports were exaggerated, and he said that he is determined to bring his complaint to the UN leadership to remove Yash Ghai from his position.

On Friday, Mrs Mu Sochua, SRP Secretary-general, said in defense to Yash Ghai and the UN reports: “The reports are true, therefore the SRP support (the reporting) of the restriction of the people’s freedom rights, land disputes, corruption, unacceptable justice system. The government reaction is not right. The victims who happen to be the Cambodian people, still continue to be victimized. I believe that the government should recognize the unfair and immoral actions taken by a number of government officials against our people, such as home evictions without paying proper compensation. The land-grabbing issue is true, there is no exaggeration to the truth, this (UN) report (by Yash Ghai) is correct.”

I motioned. CPP is all about barking, and once they (CPP) felt the credibility being attacked and their heels being stepped on. They will come forward to Bark at someone.

It just their way of keeping Looney theatre dashing.

Who is ah Chheang Vun? How much does ah HunSen bought him for and how meter plots distributed to him and his family in PP?

The issue here is why Chheang Vun knew the report had been exagerated. As I know many Cambodian diplomates know about Cambodia situation through website only without visiting the country like Ghai did.

Cambodia is the world most power country like America, so do the CPP's people, if you have accurately reported the truth of land-grabbing, corruption, and unacceptable justice system,
the CPP's people will delightfully ban all the reporters, and endlessly want to destroy them.

Wait and see if the UN is also a corrupt organization. If the UN removed Ghai as the Mafia in Cambodia asked for, then yep UN is one of the Mafia.
