The Sam Rainsy Party had shuffled its high-raking officials. Sam Rainsy, SRP President, told The Cambodia Daily on Saturday that, in order to improve the party organization and to prevent any corruption from happening, his party had to shuffle its officials. He said that it is not good to keep one person at the same position for too long.

The Cambodia Daily reported that MP Tioulong Saumura will become the Banteay Meanchey provincial party chief, replacing Kim Suor Phearith who will become a member of the party council in Kompong Cham province.

Mrs Mu Sochua, SRP Secretary-general, received an additional duty as party president of the Kampot province, replacing MP Kieng Vang who will be transferred to become a member of the party council for Phnom Penh city. The shuffling also affects a number of other party officials as well.

Mrs Mu Sochua said that this shuffling was undertaken based on the party experience from the commune election results which took place in April 2007. These results gave the idea to the party to strengthen the presence of party officials within the ranks in order to prepare for the upcoming 2008 general election.

I totally agree with you Mr President that you said that "it is not good to keep one person at the same position for too long" but, how about yourself?.

How about MR. SAM himself? When he is going to reshuffle his position to another person.

YES, he does a good job but he needs to share and foster a new leader of his party.

I quoted he is saying," one person stays in the same job it is not good"

Can he confidence to do such that?
99.99% HE IS NOT

His job now is to win the election. For now he doesn't finish his job yet. As long as the party keep gaining the vote there is no reason to force him out. Nelson Mandela served as vice and president of ANC for 30 years without power and in jail. Then he served as President of South Africa 1 term and stopped. So let Sam Rainsy do the same or 2 terms max.

STUPID WHY CAN YOU SEE THE DIFFERENCE?

His own words against his ego.

Mr. Sam sometimes doesn't realize his own comment turning against himself.

It is not against his will, of course, it is his intention to have real person to work with real job.

Finally, he will obligate to his will when SRP is strong enough.

He is not like Hun Sen that proclaimed to be a PM for until 90 years old...this is his ignorant statement..

Sam Rainsy is not such kind of ignorant leader...

He is not a leader. He pretends to be the leader but doesn't have the knowledge or the quality of a leader. He can't be trusted, so other so called party leaders. Most, if not all, of them are so dramatic and exaggerated. The "50+1" formula, is that his genius idea? What was he thinking about? I thought he knows better than that. When Ah Hun Sen yelled at him, he ran and cried out for help then returned later asking for pardon from Ah Hun Sen (Sorry for defaming you. I promise I will not do it again. It was my stupidity. I will be working with you, please accept me back. What a joke!). He is doing it for his own benefit and by the US tax payers. It is a set up. They are playing gambling bet with people's life. The politics that they know are theatrical dramas.... It starts and ends the same night. Enemies become friends and friends turns enemies the same hour. The spectators getting disappointed and crying their hearts out. They holding hands, soon after the show ends, tov si kuy teov the same table. Are they the real heroic King and Asuras? Are they fighting the real war for the people well being? Who dig the trench, plant the rice, endure the sweat shop? Jey Yo! Samdachs etc, etc,.... HE etc, etc,... That's where they want to be and what they want to get.

Hey 2:14PM

I never heard that Rainsy spoke the way you post in here. Lets give me proof, man.

He is the best leader in Cambodia if we compare him with the others.

Follow the links below and read them. There are more, research them. Look at all of them and decide for yourself.

He is struggling, he bends, twists and spreads thin, so does others, then becomes fragile, reach his breakpoint. He is the best for some, other may think differently. He says his party stands on the principle of Democracy, that's a good thing. For some parties, don't know what's their stand(s) but they all have eyes on CPP. All are fighting each other for position (what position?).

They need to get together, get united. None of them will survive by staying separated, not a chance against CPP (Ah Hun Sen, Chea Sim, Heng Samrin,... with the dirty bastard Viet behind. They love to see this kind of disarray. Now, it's even better for Ah Hun Sen, at least 2 more parties just born, NRP and HRP, more division). They are vulnerable in the eyes of the public or even within their inner circles. That's why they keep jumping ship, mistrust. Some switch parties again and again and some end up with the one they started with. It's just like lakhorn. They must understand the game they play and play to win. It's not only knowing own inner strength but also the strength of the opponent. Learn from past mistakes and change it. Hope they will last and WIN, now I don't see it.
