Sar Kheng, vice-prime minister and minister of Interior, declared that Khieu Samphan, who holds a Ph.D. degree, was the instigator of the cooperative system. It was under this instigation that Pol Pot, the leader of the Democratic Kampuchea regime, put this system into use and it led to the killings and the genocide of Cambodian people. In a speech given at the opening ceremony of a bridge construction site in Battambang province last week, Sar Kheng said that Hou Yon and Hu Nim, two high-ranking Khmer Rouge officials, were the first ones to be killed by Pol Pot because the pair opposes the prevention of the use of money and the setup of a market system, they also oppose the cooperative system instigated by Khieu Samphan. Sar Kheng added that, based on his thinking, Khieu Samphan survived because Pol Pot was pleased with Khieu Samphan’s policy since his Ph.D. thesis talked only about cooperative, that was why all of us (Cambodians) started to set up cooperatives. Therefore, the communal eating, the communal work, and all other communal activities were undertaken because of Khieu Samphan’s instigation.

I am not a fan and nor a supporter of CPP. But I agree the comment made by Sar Kheng in relationof Khiv Sam Phann. Their extrem ideas of cleansing social classes have made a lot of killings. As RFA has interviewed with one of french writer that, Pol Pot and Khiev Sam Phann wanted to eliminate all social classes out from Cambodia except Agricuture classes are allowed to survive. They wanted to transform Cambodia to another North Korea. Everyone should be working for leadership (Everyone is their servants of their families and tehir children families).Other classes would have to crushed to death( they don't wanted to see another revolution). Every year since 1975 after their establishment of commune kitchen and co-operative, the khmer rouge have reviewed in every 6 months all people biography. Those who has made mistake by admitting they were school teacher or engineer or medical professional or student etc.. and etc.. they would be taken out at night for execution in nearby forests. If we also go back and review all appeals made by Sihanouk, we also can understand that Sihanouk has also had a lot of revenges against people in the cities. He wanted his rebellions troops to cut all urbans citizens neck on their arrival. As these two have their common goal, they can support to each other to accomplish their goal to terrorise the entire Nation. Please do not put me wrong again. I am totally against Vietnamese invasion. But at this stage, I must say the killers are Sihanouk, Khiev Sam Phann, Ieng sary, his wife, Pol Pot etc.. and etc.. The social justice of Pol Pot mentioned by Khiev Samphann was a social Justice of the jungle ( animals which who has ever the force can kill those helpless.). What we need now is to lobby UN, the court to set up a guardian Trust and to confiscicate all properties and monies hidden in any bank of these Khmer Rouge leaders ( to recompensate to their victims who are now living with old age and has no support). If they are convicted, all their children should be banned from having any leadership role in this modern society. These killers are now blaming Vietnam to escape their crimes. Cambodian proverb goes" Sva sibbay leap mort popai". The USA Embassador in Cambodia has made it veryu clear. We are looking for the real killers of the regime.
