Sam Bith, the former KR army commander who was sentenced to life imprisonment and who is now hospitalized at the Calmette Hospital for more than one week already, is still in coma. He is maintained alive by oxygen. The Koh Santepheap newspaper quoted a doctor as saying that Sam Bith’s condition is serious and if oxygen is pulled out from him, he may die. Sam Bith was brought to the hospital after sustaining a stroke, and he was also ridden with diseases: high blood pressure and diabetes. The 74-year-old Sam Bith was a former KR army commander, he was sentenced to life in prison because he ordered the killing of several foreigners arrested by the KR in 1994 in Phnom Voa, Kampot province.

This is the wrong hospital to go to begin with.
