The Cambodia Watchdog Council International (CWCI) issued a declaration on Saturday, calling on the government of Cambodia to show a clear stance in the negotiation with Thailand on the Preah Vihear Temple issue which is complicated affair. The declaration was issued after it was learned that Thai prime minister Samak Sundaravej will visit Cambodia on 03 March, and he could raise the Preah Vihear Temple issue to discuss with Hun Sen. This declaration also called on civil society, Cambodian politicians, and the Cambodian public to participate in the protection of Preah Vihear Temple which is also a Cambodian cultural heritage.

Let it be known that the border issue must be solved by the border committee between Cambodian and the Thaicong!

The issue of Khmer Phrea Vihear temple deal cultural heritage must be solved UNESCO!

The fucken Thaicong must not politicize border issue with UNESCO because the UNESCO job is to deal with cultural issue only! Therefore UNESCO should have no problem is recognize Khmer Phrea Vihear temple as part of the world heritage!

i'm glad there a group like this (cwci) is formed to watch and protect cambodia as cambodia is very vulnerable to encrouchment and abuse by neighboring countries who always wanted to take advantage of cambodia. thanks for having it and everyone can help to protect and look after our land. thank you all very much.

Not me, I don't need anyone to do that. Our border patrols know what is going on at the border, and they will reported all new development back to us.

However, I don't mind seeing the CWCI rolling up their sleeves and helping us out with our irrigation works across the country.
