Kem Sokha, Human Rigths Party (HRP) President, said that the CPP is not that strong, but the democrats are weak. Speaking to The Mekong Times in an interview, Kem Sokha said that if the democrats have a clear strategy, the CPP would not be able to do anything against them. The CPP is not strong, but the democrats are weak. He added that: “if the CPP is really strong, it wouldn’t just obtain more than 3 million votes out of a total of more than 7 million voters. The CPP goes around distributing gifts and threats, and yet it obtained only this much votes, this means that the CPP is not strong, but that we are weak. Therefore, if we have clear strategy, like what Thaksin (Shinawatra), the former Thai PM who couldn’t return home, but he had a strategy to make another group win, then he can return back home again. However, Samdech Krom Preah (Norodom Ranariddh) does not have this idea. If he immediately declares to (his supporters) to vote for one party, then the latter will have a possibility to resolve his problem.” Kem Sokha added also that: “Mr. Sam Rainsy or us, we fight each other, we disagree with each other, but we must maintain a dialogue in order to have a common goal. If we have a strategy, we will surely win.”

Kem Sokha,

You're dreaming and aim too high, my friend. Do you think you will get some seats? You're so stupid and you just work for CPP and Hun Sen only. You try to break the votes from Sam Rainsy to help Hun Sen gain more seats. You're just a bunch of dogs running around. Whoever believe you and support you are stupid as you. I don't change my position and still support Sam Rainsy. He is the only smart and educated leader presently in Cambodia history. No one else can be compared with him. Ah Hun Sen is the bottom of the list and the one who is very stupid on earth to be the leader. You're lucky that Hanoi put you in this position. Otherwise, you're no shit to Cambodia people. We're ready to hang you like Sadam.

Hun Sen = Stupid
Hun Sen = Moreon
Hun Sen = Crook
Hun Sen = Uneducated
Hun Sen = Traitor
Hun Sen = Kwak
Hun Sen = Shit
Hun Sen = Dumb
Hun Sen = Hanoi
Hun Sen = Death Sentence
Hun Sen = Grave

All democratic political parties can work together for a big ally to win election before election day. These parties must made an arrangement in advance for their emergence. After the emergence, the new ally can have another new name such as "Ally of all democrates".
They must have settled together into two issues.
-Policies of each party
-Listing of candidate
1-Offcourse some small party cannot expect the bigger party such as SRP to take all of their policies. THe small party can only ask the bigger party such as SRP to take one or two of their main policies.
2-The small party cannot expect to have all of their candidate to be part of SRP party. In western countries, they will look at how much the small party can provide campaign fund to the bigger party for this later to be able to locate one or two members of that party as the candidate. Offcourse, HRP and Norodom rannarith party, each can expect to have one miniter post to be fair. The most important of this alliance is to win and to remove the CPP from the government. Therefore their common policies are the most important. Areak Prey

Hi! Areakprey from Battambang

I am glad you are here again.
It is quite true that CPP is not that strong, in fact only with muscle threatening own race will lead to failure,KR did just that.

Principles of democracy have to be clarified and enforced. Morality,Truth and justice of real SRP and Human Rights(Principles of supporting necessary needs for life) are the common grounds, if the parties are true and fair to own values.

As a matter of fact, if we are true buddhists, we should see ourselve for applied Buddhism.

Khmer democratic parties will not have a unity. It should happen long time ago. And it cannot happen now.

A few days after the coup the western gave a big support and idea for the 3 main democratic parties to form a UCD (United Cambodian Democracies). They asked Kem Sokha to be a middle person. Son San accepted it. Ranaridh was OK with it. But Rainsy refused. He said the same thing as now "His party will win. His party does not need anyone else". If they united, they would already win the CPP at that time.

After seeing Rainsy's attitute, Son San's team later joined FUNCINPEC.

After staying with FUNCINPEC for awhile Kem Sohka saw no hope that FUNCINPEC would go up but to come down. He then secretly talked to Rainsy to bring about half of FUNCINPEC's team to join Rainsy. But Rainsy refused again.

Later on Kem Sokha throw a Human Rights group organization to gain his own popularity. Seeing and fearing of popularity of Kem Sokha, Rainsy and his wife then secretly met Kem Sokha and offerred him a Vice President at Sam Rainsy Party. But it was Kem Sokha's turn to refuse.

Later in 2006 one of the western country tried to put these two men at a round table in Phnom Penh and asked them to work together. But Rainsy refused again. He said "His tree has grown strong roots. His ship is going toward the goal. His party is OK. He doesnot need anyone."

Again in 2007 after Kem Sokha launched the Human Rights Party, a group of western countries tried to put them together. They arranged for both of them to meet in Switzeland. Kem Sokha showed up, but Rainsy did not. Rainsy and his wife went to Paris instead.

I think it was the final attemp of the western to help these two groups to unite. And I think they will never be together. In their heart they become the enemy now.

They both are now trying so hard to gain votes and seats in order to be a partner with CPP to run the government. But they are wrong again. FUNCINPEC will win a few seats (2 or 3 at least) that will add up to 50+1 with CPP. Then they are still a strong partner for government.

It is too late for Kem Sokha, Rainsy or anyone to call for the unity.

HRP is sponsored by ah Hun Sen (CPP: Communist Pro youn Party) because ah Pen Sovann and ah Chan Ven are actually vice presidents of HRP (Kem Sokha party) so HRP belongs to CPP (Communist Pro youn Party).

ah Pen Sovann and ah Chan Ven are ah youn agents. ah Pen Sovann served youns since 1954 and ah Chan Ven They served youns since 1979.

Before the Khmer democrats can have the slim hope to beat Hun Sen, they must overcome the enemies within, that is their ego. They must and realise that they evolve around the people not the people evolve around them. Unless they can rid of the self centred belief then the democrats can be real democrats and have hopes to beat the one eye devil. Otherwise just join the devil.

That is right. When you got what it take to defeat the CPP, they are not strong.

Look! 13 years in opposition is the most embarrasing for SRP. More then that they are so and so arrogant. They repeatly turned down request of People to unite the force. Let's it be if they do not want to hear.

Just to warn you that our group will not vote for you any more, we already voted for SRP twice (1998, 2003). You have brought no chances even in side your party. How long are you going to run SRP group, epspite repeated defeats?

SRP supporters should assess SRP effectiveness. We already made up our mind. We see hopeless to continue to support this group.
