Kaing Kek Iev, aka Duch, the former Tuol Sleng jail chief under the KR regime and who is currently jailed by the KR Tribunal, is becoming an important witness in Hor Namhong’s lawsuit against Sam Rainsy regarding defamation and disinformation. The prosecutor of the Phnom Penh municipal court issued a summon for Duch to show up in court in the afternoon of 16 May. Regarding this issue, a source from the Phnom Penh municipal court indicated that Hor Namhong’s lawyer asked to include Duch’s name as witness who can confirm that Hor Namhong was not the Boeng Trabek jail chief under the KR regime. Referring to this request, the court issued a summon for Duch to come to the court in the afternoon of 16 May 2008 to clarify as a witness.

If you go to this link: http://www.kohsantepheapdaily.com.kh/khmer/rain08_05.htm you will certainly learn that Whore NamHorng himself said that he was Boeng Trabaek jail chief. It is a testament of the man himself, therefore, the case is close and Whore NamHorng admit it.
the prosecution and the CPP court are using the Duch as a jail snitch to cover up the evidence. Duch can get his plea bargain reduced if he would choose to help them. However, if Duch was dare to say anything, he would be soon become the "mysterious death".

A handful of Khmer politicians think they own the whole truth about the Khmer Rouge era. They says something and don’t want their opinions being checked. They want no responsibility, sometime when necessary, hiding behind the Revered Heroic King for their fortuitous affirmations. Khmer people do need a credible opposition. But sadly we feel growing doubts about some politicians for whom we had high hope for so long. They went personal, by attacking individuals instead of the government policies. We used to pray politicians for their courage, but not this kind of courage under bellies!
No, it is not fair to attack the government as a whole because there are many hard working people who dedicated and sacrificed so much to make Cambodia what it is today. At the beginning nobody knew who ah DUCH was. Then Ah Duch confessed to the American church that he ordered the killings of the victims at Toul Sleng Prison. The American interviewer printed ah Duch's confession and that was why his identity was revealed.
Similarly, no body know about ah Hor Nam Quoc. Just like ah Duch, ah Hor Nam Quoc finally confessed to the English-language newspaper Phnom Penh Post based in Cambodia that he was a "jail chief at Beng Trabaek Jail." Then recently, ah Hor Nam Hong again confessed that he was a "jail chief at Beng Trabaek" to the Kohsantepheap newspaper, the mouthpiece for the CPP.
Ah Duch always maintains that he is not responsible for the killings of those innocent people at Toul Sleng because he was only following the orders from the top Khmer Rouge leaders. Ah Duch said that if he didn't do what was asked, then he would be killed just like the victim.
Ah Whore Nam Quoc also maintains the same things. He said that he was promoted to be jail chief by the top Khmer Rouge leaders. He maintains that the people whom he selected to be removed from the jail under his supervision were ordered by the top Khmer Rouge leaders. So he had no say in it at all. He even sent away up to 30family members of his own. He said that eventually he would be eliminated by the Khmer Rouge as well.
All in all, has Sam Rainsy been right about Hor Nam Quoc's position of power during the Khmer Rouge era? The answer is absolutely YES.
