Former Khmer Rouge official and current Malay district governor immediately showed his face to meet and explain to villagers in the former KR region, right after Sam Rainsy visited the same area to look for support from the villagers to the SRP. The Rasmei Kampuchea newspaper reported that Tep Khunnal, Malay district governor and CPP chief in the Malay district, visited about 300 villagers in the afternoon on 08 May. A few days earlier, Sam Rainsy also met with the same number of villagers in this area. Tep Khunnal said: “We hurried to visit the villagers to explain and clarify to them so that they understand the actual truth. This is not to defeat Mr. Sam Rainsy, the opposition leader.” On 06 May, Sam Rainsy met with his party supporters and about 300 villagers in O’Sralao commune, Malay district, Banteay Meanchey province. During that occasion, Sam Rainsy discussed several points about the SRP party, in order to attract the support from party members and local villagers.

People of the former resistance to the CPP and Hanoi rule play well in the out look but deep down inside they can't wait to finish CPP since their beloved leaders Ieng Sary who is used to be in the same village with these folks and now detained.
Tep Khunnal is a survivor with ideal of Yuon is no friendly to Cambodia.
Oppositions need to make efforts to involve these passive resistants.

What I see actually, it is illegal to the NEC. This a propaganda of SRP.
They know That They are not allow to do such thing before the midst of June.
Even FUNCINPEC is not doing such a foolish's thing. You are allow to do such thing only if you are with the government and publicizing the government, not the party.
CCP is like animal, SRP is like criminals. Democracy doesn't mean, DOING AGAINST THE LAW.
Funcinpec is a fair player. They will deserve to loss the election, if they do not rush to search for support!!!! It is ridiculous that the campaign period is only one month before the election day for the 24 provinces and municipals.....
Well, how many members do you need to represent you party per province. Cambodia is not a big country. Plus, if you can talk for 30 days straight, you are a hell of a bullshit artist, dude.
