On Wednesday 21 January, Dey Kraham residents, who are still anxiously waiting for their upcoming eviction, have organized a ceremony to honor Lor Seiha, their former representative, who was released from jail following 6-month of detention.

Lor Seiha was charged with “incitation to violence,” “falsification,” and “destruction of someone else’s property” in Dey Kraham.

Seven other people also saw the same charge leveled against them, however, only Lor Seiha was arrested.

“We organize this ceremony to free Lor Seiha from all the bad spirits in jail,” Chan Vichet, the current representative of the residents, indicated. “This is also an occasion to remind people that we are Buddhist followers and that we wish to see all conflicts resolved peacefully.”

On Monday 19 January, Chan Vichet sent a letter to the city hall, asking for a meeting to discuss the Dey Kraham land dispute issue.

What does Som Archsy and Kem Soakpee-kroy have in common? Use the poor guy Chea Vichea for their political stunt.

If Som Archsy and Kem Soakpee-kroy really want to find the murderer that killed Chea Vichea, they would do everything possible like hire private detector or try their best to look for this invidual merderer. These two scums just use this to publicise for their political gain. Go figure!
