A recent survey by the Documentation Center of Cambodia shows that a slight majority of Cambodians polled -- 56.8 percent -- think the tribunal should pursue additional suspects beyond the five defendants already in custody. DC-Cam interviewed a little over 1,000 Cambodians, including former "New People" (pre-Khmer Rouge city dwellers), "Base People" (many of those formerly involved with the Khmer Rouge) and those who are too young to remember the 1975-1979 period.
Of the younger people surveyed, 67.5 percent supported additional prosecutions, "perhaps indicating that the young generation has a different view of justice than their parents, the direct victims," according to the DC-Cam report.

At this point, no announcement has been made about a resolution to the dispute between Co-Prosecutors over additional prosecutions.

If we look at their record in the past 29 years, these three idiots are not leaders. But they are robbers. They only wanted to robbed the country for themself instead leading the country to the right direction. I agree with your comment, and the Justice should bring those three people too. They just not obbed the country, they already seale our Land to Youn/VN.
I would like to encourage khmer people around the wold, we need to stand up, we need to change this government and find the better one, neverever give up. From my perpective to all the Khmer people in Cambodia most of them they are suffered, but they very strong, even they get tortured from Hun Sen government. Hopefuly our young generation will be take over their future back.

What the victims can do against this kind of crime? Do they have any power to fight against these assassins?
Historically the vietkong are proved its strongest force in ruse, in atrocities, in policy and humain resource. So killing other to expand its race and territorial is a question of survival instinct for the viets which may consider by these last ones as its sacred duty for its race or nation.

A Survivor of the Killing Fields
There's a lot of individuals that can be prosecuted. The only problem is that many of them former Khmer Rouge already hold ministry, generals of the military, member or parliament and CPP permanent committee positions.
You can judge, you can kill these killing machines but if you don’t destroy or kill those who programmed these killing tools or machines, Cambodia wont get out of the kind of crime like killing field, K5 or the rest of crimes and misery under the supreme rule of khmer rouge cpp or hun kvang.
What kind of human you are to accept the rules and rulers imposed by yuons or other foreigners who want your death. We all know that these khmer rouges sihanouk, polpot, cpp officers are not Khmer leaders but killing tools imposed by others to kill and destroy Khmer but the most absurd is that you all accept these criminals as gods as legitimated leaders to rule over your heads and decide your life at your place. And by them it is the yuons who decide your life, your destiny at your place.

Hun Sen currently smokes 1 1/2 packs of 555 cigarettes everyday. At outdoors speeches and ceremonies, he even is rude enough to light up a cigarette and smoke when the Cambodian National Anthem is being played. Each cigarette is like another nail on his coffin. He's soon to have emphysema and lung cancer and eventually die. To bad he won't rule Cambodia until he's 80+ years old as he tried to self-predict.

hun sen can be withdrawal from power if yuons decide so as yuons did against polpot, not you, not khmer people or anyone. True justice and prosecution should be no limit and no boundary. So far, as we can see those five none government members. There are many more who are members of the khmer rouge and witnesses of the crime and killing who are government official of the CPP. If this will be the case of justice. Proper terminology should be used, and not the word " justice " should be use here for this khmer rouge trials. Why don't we also wait until this government is no longer government and trials them also like the current 5 memebers being trialed now ? If this is what the CPP wants. Then their time will come for their own trial by the another court in the future?

They have so very little compassion, kindness, sympathy and mercy for the miserable Khmer people who have been destitude and desperate for their rights to be legal Khmers living on their own land, without being chased around like illegal immigrants.
