17 Mesa Snaeha Nireas - "Love lost on 17 April": A Poem in Khmer by KC

Drawing by Ung Bun-Heang (Sacrava)

The author would like to dedicate this poem to all Youths from the Khmer Republic regime who lost their loved ones following the 18 March 1970 event and under the Khmer Rouge regime. The author would also like to dedicate this poem to his comrade-in-arms from battalion 74 who fought in Trav, along National Road No. 2: Brothers Danh Ratana, Thach Serey, Than, Pech, Lay, as well as his friends in the Cambodian Navy: Lorn, Kha, Song, Nak, Soy, Oeun, Vantha, Ussara... If there is indeed a next life, may we become friends again!

Let the Khmers enjoy the new year. They all do not have good life, like you both in California-USA & in Berlin-Germany.

Buddha's Poem:

"Ak-pama tarakta hor-tha,sachitak manu-rakha-thak ruta,uthak-rak,thata-naing bangké satorvak kugn-chharo"
"Delight in heed fullness.Keep strict watch over your thoughts.Lift your selves out of the slough of evil like an elephant sunk in the mire."

Don't be so patheric! Everyone lost their loves one during the war and under Khmer Rouge regime. These regimes are not perfect.

May Buddha bless all those souls who fought and died for their country and bless Cambodia.

Have a good day and Happy New Year.

This quote below by cpp is a lie and is just a propaganda

"7th January is the history day of victory over the genocidal regime"

http://www.thecpp.org/?lang=eng

7th January is the day that viets invaded cambodia.

7th january is not the day of victory over genocide. cpp always lies
