Yesterday, a letter from France came to me from a Khmer woman in France (who wrote in appalling French). Among other things, this Cambodian woman in France reproached me for staying in China rather than returning to Cambodia.
In “response,” I sent to this Khmer woman in France copies of my communiqués and messages sent successively to my beloved compatriots about my 3rd cancer (lymphoma B), the treatment of which requires several months at the Beijing State Central Hospital (P.R. of China).
My Compatriots from Cambodia perfectly understand the necessity for me to stay several months still in Beijing. They pray for my cure.
The fact this Khmer woman in France is reproaching me for staying in China, whereas she remains (all her life) in France, is laughable.

khmer people get too defensive sometime. Its a bad thing, beside, if he want to do something to help khmer. He should deal with international communities, not agrueing with nonsense issue.
He should take criticism constructly.
Typical Khmer leader instead of focusing on the benefit and take criticism he simply implies the woman have no right to criticise him since she her self stay in France, This is a joke for the title of King father. How can he summit himself to compare to this critics that he does not even have the slightest respect for, even smirking at her writing?
Khmer citizen the poorest of them all do not deserve such a leader.
The father of small pocket of independent! If we did not get our independent from France may be we would never have KR and never lost Khmer Krom to Vietnam.

Folks – shame on us all. All these episodes clearly show how immature we are. Instead of spending times and efforts to find a common ground to help the nation, we relentlessly and stubbornly continue to antagonize each other. How can we develop the country and protect it from the neighbours’ dominations with this kind of attitude?

whatever you do or don't do for your country, please do not repeat the mistakes this old king had made. it was a fatal tragedy with unimaginable lasting impact.
what I do not understand is, why, at oever 80 years of age, he is still obsessed in being the greatest and the righteous one. he wants everyone to shut up while he himself keeps on ranting on others while heaping praises about his own illusioned prides and achievements. if he is truly an educated/intellect person, or buddhist, he should be humble and stay quiet away from petty mocking - you reap what you sow - tit-for tat.
did he know that it was him, the KR, and the current puppet regime that drove many of the refugees to run out of Cambodia in the first place???? these overseas Khmers have either become permanent residents or actual citizens of their adopted countries, they work, live and raise families here, they never claim the title of FATHER KING of CAMBODIA. if he says he is just a simple Chinese permanent resident/citizen or a temporary North Korean resident/citizen, then he is just like any othe Khmers overseas.
anyway, I wish the king the best helth and much longevity as a fellow human being. (I hope the king would not be offended for me to consider him as a human being!)

I just checked google map about Cambodia. Should anyone write a petition to google that they miss spelling Cambodia towns and provinces. It seems like google tries to use the upper letter as the Vietnamese alphabets. Does google try to colonize Cambodia under Vietminh or the Vietminh asks google to do that. Please go to Google and check it out even the word "Phnom Penh" spells wrong as Phnum Penh with assentegue character on top.
