Opposition leader Sam Rainsy is summoned to the Paris Appeal court on 08 October in regards to the defamation lawsuit opposing him to Hor 5 Hong, the Cambodian minister of Foreign Affairs.

On 08 October 2009, Sam Rainsy will again defend his position on Hor 5 Hong’s past during the KR era.

On 27 January 2009, Sam Rainsy was sentenced by the Paris tribunal for stating in his autobiography – Rooted in the Stone (Calman-Lévy, 2008) – that Hor 5 Hong directed the Boeung Trabek detention center under the KR regime.

At that time, Sam Ransy and the book publisher were each sentenced to pay a symbolic amount of 0.50 euro ($0.72) to Hor 5 Hong. He was also ordered to remove the word “collaborator” and the sentence “suspected of leading several people to their death” from future editions of the book in relation to Hor 5 Hong. Sam Rainsy appealed the case.

My book can continue to be sold as is, without any change, everywhere, until the depletion of the current edition, in contrast, Hor 5 Hong asked that they are being ceased,” Sam Rainsy told Cambodge Soir Hebdo from Paris.

ACID ATTACK ON TAT MARINA
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed acid attack.
"On December 5, 1999, Tat Marina, age 16, was severely disfigured in an acid attack in Phnom Penh. The attack was allegedly committed by Khun Sophal, the wife of a senior government official, Svay Sitha, because she was angry her husband had a sexual relationship with Tat Marina. Neither Khun Sophal nor those suspected of being her accomplices in the attack were brought to justice. Intense media publicity compelled the Phnom Penh Municipal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Khun Sophal for attempted murder, but the police claimed that they could not locate her, although journalists reported that she was living at home as usual."

TORTURE AND MURDER ON PRAK SITHA WHILE IN CUSTODY BY MISNISTRY OF INTERIOR OFFICIAL
Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen Khmer Rouge Regime had committed torture and murder.
"On the night of January 16, 2003, a street youth named Prak Sitha was beaten to death at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) headquarters after he was arrested and detained by off-duty MOI officers on suspicion of theft. His body - bearing numerous injuries to the head, torso, arms, and legs - was dumped at a Phnom Penh pagoda the following morning by ministry officers, in violation of police regulations regarding deaths in custody. No criminal charges were filed in connection with this death. In December 2004, the case was cited by the UN secretary-general's special representative for human rights in Cambodia - who stated that Prak Sitha died at the ministry "following beatings by a known police officer" - as an example of a "consistent and continuing pattern of impunity" in Cambodia."

Mean Sokchea was detained by the police overnight but was then released, allegedly after intervention by Hing Bun Heang. Put Samphor's family received US$2,700 from Mean Sokchea, and the police told them that their daughter was shot while authorities were chasing robbers."

Many live witnesses know ah Hor 5 Hong was director the Boeung Trabek detention center under the KR regime and had killed as many as Duch killed at Tuol Sleng or S21.

I cannot understand how Mr Sam Ransy has lost his court case with Hor Nam Hong. Their court case was indeed at the district court with small claim. For this kind of court case, each party didn't need to have a lawyer. The court would just send a mediator to discuss among them to find out who was right and who was wrong. If you are not turning up for the hearing, you will loose completely. You need to bring all evidences to prove it. Areak Prey

Hor Nam Hong was the director and he did order to kill. Since he was KR of Vietnamese faction, he is being protected. Duch was a KR of Chinese faction.

How come Samrainsy help Cambodians! At the mean time this guy still can’t help himself. I believe that Samrainsy and Hun Sen are the same when they have power in their hands. Moreover, the corruption has been run in Khmer blood leader from one regime to another. Furthermore, Khmer never stop fighting with each other! It is the chronic disease of the Khmer race. Does all the Khmer Gov. know the world Unity is strength?
