"We never commit violence or cruelty to the Cambodian people (sic!)" - Suwat Saew Sook, adviser to the Thai ambassador in Phnom PenhThe Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh has requested its government to investigate the alleged killing of a Cambodian youth on the border last week, an embassy official said Friday.
Cambodian officials have said a 16-year-old boy was first shot and then burned alive by Thai soldiers after he was arrested for illegally crossing the border, a claim Thai authorities deny.
Suwat Saew Sook, an adviser to the ambassador in Phnom Penh, said the embassy had received the request from the Foreign Ministry and forwarded it to the Thai government.
The Thai government and its soldiers are committed to “non-violence,” he said. “We never commit violence or cruelty to the Cambodian people.”
The Foreign Ministry claims Yon Rith, 16, was shot and later killed after illegally felling trees in Thailand. Several other boys managed to escape, the ministry said in a letter.

Ah fucking Thailand you burnt a Khmer boy alive, we will not forget this terrible killing by your Thai soldiers on Khmer people forever. Don't you lie Ah fucking Thailand
Fuck you Ah Thailand..Thai Kingdom!
Cambodian Gov't and authority must keep pressure Thai army commander to turn in that Thai soldier for shot and burns the boy alive, if khmer people had violated on somthing, all Thai has to do is, jail them and punish under the law, not shooting and burning people alive! Thailand is lawless country! and cowards country! Thai army commander must turn in that soldier, or we will go to WAR!!!!!
I urged our government continue to press Thai authority to bring that soldier to justice! do not play soft with Thailand anymore! this is not the first time that Thai soldier has done to khmer unarms people who just seeking for works in Thai villages, i used to lived in K.I.D refugee Camp, i knew how cruel Thais soldier are....
siem are very cruel people, indeed, especially to cambodia and khmer people during hard time and early 1980s and so forth. no wonder khmer people hated their guts forever, in addition to them stealing khmer territories and lands, etc... what goes around comes around eventually; siem people have a lot of bad karma with cambodia, and bad karma will catch up with siem and their country and gov't sooner or later, it's just a matter of timing, really! god bless cambodia.
