The CPP-dominated National Assembly is planning to suspend my parliamentary immunity on Monday, November 16. There will be a special parliamentary session with the lifting of my immunity being the only topic on the agenda.
I expected this move by the Hun Sen government. It proves how subservient the Cambodian authorities are to the Vietnamese government. On October 25, as an elected representative of the Cambodian people, I had only expressed my support for, and solidarity with, Cambodian farmers who are victims of land grabbing along the Vietnamese border in Svay Rieng province. The attempt to silence me by lifting my parliamentary immunity also shows that the current Phnom Penh government totally ignores King Father Norodom Sihanouk's concern about Cambodian farmers losing their rice fields because of border encroachments by the Vietnamese authorities as I elaborated in my November 7 letter to the Retired King. Vietnam's Prime Minister apparently blew out of proportion my symbolic gesture to morally come to help Cambodian farmers who are victims of local injustices involving Vietnamese authorities. But this incident could also show that I embarrassed Vietnam by shedding light on a much bigger issue with strategic implications and much higher stakes than one may first consider.
The recent appointment of fugitive Thai national Thaksin Shinawatra as an adviser to the Cambodian government in order to exacerbate tensions between Cambodia and Thailand may be just a ploy to divert the public attention from much more serious problems concerning Cambodia’s territorial integrity, which appears to be more vulnerable on our country’s eastern border than on the western border with Thailand because of Vietnam’s more subtle expansionist policies and Hun Sen’s subservient attitude towards Hanoi.

Rainsy must not take the laws into his own hand on the border issue with Vietnam. Hun Sen is in charge for RGC and he should have the authority to play his critical political game with Thailand. Rainsy must find way to win the next election in 2013 and if he does win, then he is in charge.

What you need to do now is to invite press corps to go to the eastern border and show them the evidence with the map to prove your point.
MPs from affected area shall help to collect petition from citizens, or concerned individuals then forward it to the Assembly for action. If the Assembly neglected duty then due process and legal action on behalf petitioners shall be followed suit.
Be sure to have copies available for back up and press inquiries.

Worst yet, vietnam shouldn't apply their communist policy upon cambodian citizen or cambodian government.

Don't take the evidence of Vietnam encroachment to Khmer assembly as one commentator suggested. Take it to the UN and European Union. Take Vietnam government and Hun Sen government to the UN court and show evidence that Hanoi steal a lot of Khmer land. As Mr. Rainsy said "Hun Sen tried to take the issue with Hanoi border issue away from Khmer and tries to fool Khmer people about Thailand". Thai won't steal a lot of Khmer land, but Hanoi did steal a lot of Khmer land in the day time. No CPP regime do anything about it.
If Hanoi wants 100 hectars of land, Hun Sen signs for Hanoi and no question asked. But, When Thai tries to steal Khmer land, Ah Hun Sen and his subordinates voices very loudly.
Any attempt to remove opposition leader by any means is a coup d'etat agaisnt Cambodian constitution. If there is that attempt to happen, all opposition members should resign completely and call for international community to review CPP behaviour.

Hun Sen has learned a relevant diplomatic speech but it seems helpful only to those Cambodian farmers and less educated people to believe in him. Important thing, Hun Sen still need to clearly answer the hidden multi-purposes in welcoming and appointing Thaksin as advisor. Whenever Cambodia and Thailand conflict accelerated, Vietnam can strengthen its hegemony over Cambodia successfully. To serve the interests of Cambodia, Hun Sen has to balance the political weigh between Thailand and Vietnam. But I am saddened when Cambodia and Thailand government has skyrocketed enmity with each other.
Hun Sen said "Khmers have only one color now is Khmer". But according to this speech, Hun Sen has created only CPP color but condemn other color. CPP color is Vietnamese by nature.
CPP is undeniably under pressure of Vietnam while Hun Sen is proceeding to implement this policy. CPP is strengthening its close relationship with Thaksin party in order to fight against Abhisit party. With this act, it benefits a lot for Vietnam, not for Cambodia.
Worse than that, Hun Sen and CPP is not reluctantly proceeding the propose of Vietnam to take Sam Rainsy to their biased court regarding Sam Rainsy's concern of border poles planted in Cambodian farmers at Svay Rieng.
Var Kimhong is afraid of losing his face about this poles planting in Cambodian farmer land, or his mentality might already sell to Vietnam or he is Vietnamese (who know?). He accepted to follow the complex GIS procedure of border map by neglecting the complaints of Cambodian farmers who lost their land in this border demarcation procedure.
Vietnam has overwhelmingly stepped over Cambodian head to proceed its successful hegemony and neo-imperialistic domination over Cambodia.
King Sihanouk's letter is seems neglected by Var Kimhong. What Var Kinhong will do next is to maintain face of himself and CPP by allowing Vietnam encroaching Cambodian farmers' land and utilize its strategy of "divide and conquer" in Cambodia land as ever.
CPP is approaching its end-dead as usual for their fear of Vietnam and illiterate leadership of Hun Sen.
Sam Rainsy might face with Cambodian biased court and immunity lifting of hi parliamentary shell. But this time, Sam Rainsy will become hero of Cambodia and Cambodian people will vote for SRP to take turn in serving Cambodia nation.
CPP is expecting to divert attention of Cambodian people via its scheme with Thailand and its dominate mass media. But border issue with Vietnam is also potentially drawn attention from all Cambodian people.

You right!, Sam Rainsy is not the Head of the Government. But nonetheless, he is an elected official by his constituents and furthermore, he is the President of SRP of whom his memeber as a representative from this province....therefore, he has legitimate reason to solve this problem for his CONSTITUENT....and that is to dismantle those illegal border postes by the Vietnamese Government. So, having to protect and safegaurd the well beings of his constituetns, and his nation are NOT a crime. Encroaching the sovereignty land by the Vietnamese Government...is a crime. First, by violating of bilateral treaties (whatever the Provisiona maybe between the two Nationa..which I hope they are feasable one) and Second, the violating of international law.

Hun Sen is not going to win the next election, but he's going to steal it. The guy must be psychic or something; he said he's going to be prime minister until 2043 in one of his speech. In addition, he said there will be civil war If he happens to lose the premiership. I wonder how he came up with that.
