Answering to questions asked by RFI’s Jean François Tain, Prince Thomico, the advisor to the office of the Beijing-bound king, provides clarification on the “fake Ruom Ritt” case. For the prince, the person posing as the childhood friend of King-Father Norodom Sihanouk wanted to attack King Sihamoni by accusing the latter of being lax when it comes to defending Cambodia’s territorial integrity.

Well, I have to admit that the royal family dosn't have anything to do. That's why they are so sensitive to the senseless issue about who is who. Look what they have done throughout the course of the Khmer history-- fighting for power, women,property, the throne and so on. Ruom Ritt or not Roum Ritt is not important and who cares. The content of the interview is true. So people should concern about the Youn thief. If the royal family wants to do any contribution to the Khmer people and Khmer land, they should be sensitive the political, economic and social crisis in Cambodia.

We don't need a useless king and useless king father around since they don't contribute any anything to Cambodian society. On the contrary they only wasted Cambodia's resources. Why don't we abolish them completely and declare Cambodia a republic. However, judging from election, the roylasts (Funcipec) are bound to lose polularity now and sooner Cambodia is no longer a kingdom any longer. Good news for us.
