Cambodian King Father Norodom Sihanouk left on Tuesday to pay a four-day friendship visit to Hanoi at the invitation of the Vietnamese president.

Sihanouk was accompanied by his wife and son King Norodom Sihamoni. They were seen off at the Phnom Penh International Airport by Prime Minister Hun Sen, the National Assembly President Heng Samrin and the Senate President Chea Sim and other government officials and royal family members.

King Father Norodom Sihanouk will not address political issues during his visit to Hanoi, according to Prince Sisowath Thomico, adviser to the former King on Monday. "I think that the visit will be aimed to boost good relations between the governments of Cambodia and Vietnam and between the peoples of the two countries, " he said at a press conference.

"Being retired and no longer doing politics nor diplomacy, my trip to the glorious Socialist Republic of Vietnam will have a strictly private character," the former King said in a statement dated June 14.

The former king made his first visit to Vietnam in 1995 in his capacity as a king of Cambodia. Sihanouk abdicated in October 2004 and was succeeded by his son King Norodom Sihamoni.

During King's absence, the Senate President Chea Sim will be acting as the head of state in accordance with the Kingdom's constitution.

Can you actually retire from loving your mother-land? My family and I never received anything but pain from Cambodia and yet we all still love her with all our heart. Sihanouk and his family live off the blood sweat and tears of the ordinary Khmers, and yet he is unwilling to defend their rights to live free of fear. A King who refuses to stand up for his own people and his own land? If we were Vietnamese, wouldn't we look down on that?

Base on my observe, most of khmer people love to serve other nationality rather their own, and they listen to other nation rather their own. You can see their current leader and also their king. What we need to do just support them weapon, and send our people to live in their country.

Tell me how long were Youn people under the Chinese influence? More than 100 years ago and everything Youn people have in term of culture and writing system were all copy from the Chinese! Does this mean the Viet must give in to the Chinese?

You Youn people should learn your history first before lecturing on Khmer people!

So what if some KHmers like Queen Monineath was born in Saigon? Million Khmer Krom were born in South Vietnam.
At that time Saigon, Phnom Penh and Vientiane were parts of French colony. A lot of Royal family members and rich people in French colony went to give birth in Saigon, because French built a better healt care at South.

Does it make any different where a person was born if one of her parent is Khmer? Ofcourse not.

Prince Tomico is a nephew of Queen Monineath, because his mother Princess Jeannette is the older sister of the Queen. Princess Jeannette married to Prince Metheavy, Tomico's Father. His parents were killed by Hor Nam Hong in KR prison camp.
The Queen's youngest son Prince Norindarapong was assassinated by Yuon and claimed to be drug overdose. Her youngest son was spoken openly about Yuon in Cambodia, and told his parents about what he sees. His parents later had KNkorean bodyguards but him was found dead. Yuon have money so French court fallen into it.

King Sihanouk another wife is still alive in Paris. But Khmer community doesn't want her to be targeted, because of her sexual active with Black men from Camroon.
They said she's dead.
