On 01 October 2010, PM Hun Xen will lead a delegation to the 8th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) to be held in Brussels, Belgium. The meeting will be held between 04 and 05 October. A communiqué issued by the ministry of Foreign Affairs dated 28 September, indicated that Hun Xen will participate in the ASEM meeting based on an invitation from Herman Van Rompuy, the President of the European Council, and Yves Leterme, the Belgian PM. The communiqué added that Hor 5 Hong, the minister of Foreign Affairs, Cham Prasidh, the minister of Commerce, and several other officials will accompany Hun Xen to the meeting. On 04 October, Hun Xen is expected to give a speech as an ASEAN country member and on 05 October, he will discuss on the topic of lasting development.

the truth is sam rainsy and his group wanted another destructive revolutionary war in cambodia. the reality is that cambodia do not need another revolutionary war to change things, instead, there are better ways to avoid civil war that ruined cambodia. diplomacy is one, not being selfish is another, education is another, reformed is a must, learn from the past history is good, development is better, re-integration for all khmer people is the best, etc! may god bless cambodia.
