“I profoundly thank the government of People's Republic of China and those who are architects and engineers that provided funds and helped to build a very good Friendship Building for the Council of Ministers.”
King Norodom Sihamoni inaugurated a new building for the Council of Ministers on Tuesday, thanking China for a reported $50 million contribution.
The “Friendship Building” will house the Council of Ministers, which administers executive work as the prime minister's cabinet, although the prime minister and his advisers will work in a separate building.
“I profoundly thank the government of People's Republic of China and those who are architects and engineers that provided funds and helped to build a very good Friendship Building for the Council of Ministers,” Norodom Sihamoni said.
The king recently returned from China on Oct. 10, following a two-week visit, where he took part in the Shanghai World Expo. His father, former king Norodom Sihanouk, remains in Beijing for health reasons.
“China has constantly provided Cambodia in all domains,” Norodom Sihamoni said Tuesday.
Chinese Ambassador Pang Guang Xue said China would “continue its assistance” to “a good friend, a good neighbor, good brothers and sisters, and good partners.”
Cambodia has maintained a close relationship with China for decades, including military and political support. China recently provided several rounds of military equipment shipments, including one of military trucks after the US suspended a similar package for human rights concerns.

This government building is a national price for Cambodia and it has showed a strong frienship between Cambodia and China, but it will hurt SRP and its stupid supporters.

Please stop taking children out from school force them to stand and pray you around like an idiot! Are you assuming that all these children really pray you and admire you facefully? Come on Mr. Prime Minister...you know as well as I do, that it is not so. They stand there under the hot sun, and without water. And the most degrading thing that your people ask these children to do is clap their hands and smile and pray you! Mr. Prime Minister...be a bit civilize...if you want your country to develope - stop using and wasting these valuable young Khmer resources. Let them study and acquire knowledge....Mr. Prime Minister - be willing to sacrify a bit your egotesticle (just a little) and let them study in peace.

China donated to Cambodia,she will take it back.She will tell Hun Sen not to sell rice to other countries.Hun Sen will sell rice very cheap to China.China will donate him again and keep some money in his own pocket.

What we need is prevention methods, not to let this type of accident happen again in the future.
It also makes me very worried to see so much alcohol allowed to enter or be produced in our beloved Kingdom of Cambodia? What about “ YA BA “ and other types of DRUGS from Thailand and Vietnam?
Can His Majesty Samdech Ta and Samdech Hun Sen stop all sorts of drugs coming to Cambodia? The accident may not be related to drugs and alcohol but just some thing that I could not sleep peacefully from now on to the future, in the names sake of true Khmer citizen.
Can Samdech Hun Sen kindly ask all 5 million Vietnamese illegal immigrants to peacefully return to Vietnam, so Koh Pich will not be too crowded more and more every day, every month and every year to come.
All Vietnamese illegal immigrants can easily come in and settle inside Cambodia even though they already have their own country Vietnam.
When Cambodia is too crowded, definitely we Khmer people can not go to settle inside Vietnam, can we?
Please Vietnamese, you said you came to rescue us from Pol Pot, and you don’t want to return home, it is not right according to 23rd October 1991 Paris Peace Agreement, can all of you go back to your country now.
