To Samdech Hun Sen

Samdech,
I am very pleased to notice that the political situation in Cambodia in the last few days has gradually improved. I would like to express my thanks to Samdech for pushing this development to happen, especially by writing the letter to His Majesty the King to request for a punishment commutation to Mr. Cheam Channy after Samdech had requested the court to release a number of Civil Society leaders from imprisonment.
Personally I share the same view with Samdech on national reconciliation and national unity for mobilizing all Khmers to work together to further develop Cambodia. I also have common understanding with Samdech that all controversial issues between Khmer and Khmer can be settled within the framework of the Khmer family.
I am regretful for having conducted improper acts towards Samdech such as accusing Samdech of being the mastermind behind the grenade attack on the protesters on 30 March 1997 in front of the National Assembly, accusing Samdech of attempting to assassinate five elites, and some other accusations, and so on and so forth. From now on, I will change my attitude so that those problems will be ended and prevent them from being repeated. In general, I decided not to take personal matters into account, but to pay much attention to national matters through the finding of peaceful solutions with mutual respect. It is not necessary to have winners or losers in any solution to national matters, for we are all Khmers; we have to live together. Only Cambodia and her people who deserve the victory from such national reconciliation, particularly the victory over poverty and underdevelopment. Our next generation will have bright future.
Please accept, Samdech, the assurances of my highest consideration.

Let's face the fact here.Who want to eliminate SRP?.Is it HRP ? fuck no. Funci ach? shit no.It was a criminal act born out of CPP to silence the opposition ,and who was the mastermind behind all that?.Don't count on kangaroo court to find justice for those victims . The crime has been committed and still is a crime .
The conciliatory letter by Mr.SAM RAINSY tO Yumareach HUN SEN was just," oh well forget it ,i can't do anything to you anyway for the time being but, you sure committed those crime buddy and don't you deny it , and just let me in because i want to help my country.
That is true, I didn't see any sorry or apology expressed in this formal letter.
They have to understand or distingush betweein sorry or regret.
I think in here the letter said "Regret".

Sam Raingsy biggest mistake and concern about his election. Now Sam Raingsy needed to find something else beside grenade attacked to put Hun Sen in an International Courts like abused of power, human rights abused, crime against humanity, land rights abused, illegally clear cut forests, destroyed natural resources, murdered journalists, murdered union worker president, murdered human rights activies, murdered opposition party members, murdered Cambodian population by starvation, forced evictions, illegally allowed Vietnamese to take over the Cambodian territory for free, etc.
It is a disgraceful letter anyone can write, whether it is a regret or an apology. Hun Sen has to give his weak opponent a breathing space.

I think there is also another word in sentence which has to play with REGRET/SORRY. It is ប្រព្រឹត្តមិនត្រឹមត្រូវ . The translation of this word to improper act is not enough in this context. To what my understanding as a reader, this means he he wants to express his regret/sorry for having INCORRECTLY/WRONGLY accused PM for being the mastermind of grenade attack.....
Hun Sen bloody hands must be cleanup at the World Courts no matter how long it take to try the Vietnamese slave.
Regret is when you are sorry for yourself where sorry you express to the other person. The subtleness is there. Politician choice of words are subtle If you can not differentiate the subtleness you should not be a politician but in Cambodian's case they never did.
Congratulations to the CPP strategists for resurfacing the issue that can embarrass Sam Rainsy.
But again congratulations may also go to Sam rainsy who may just want the attention to himself, regardless.

It's XI-MEDIA that is resurfacing this issue, not CPP...
You can argue and interpret all you want, but the fact is:
Don’t expect politic to be like mathematic which is 1 + 1 = 2, it is concrete.
Politic = prudent: possessing or displaying shrewdness, tact, or cunning.
Politic = arch bot ben, flip flop, not concrete.
The world good politicians are prudent before they say something, unlike you know what I mean....
it doesn't matter regret or apology.
Sam Rainsy has done deep damage to his reputation of flip flop.
Regret but turned around to file criminal complaint.
When someone say that s/he will avoid to repeat this mishap in the future. what does that person suppose to do morally and ethically.
Sam rainsy said he decided to file criminal complaint because Hun Sen is trying to arrest him again. He should add in the letter sent to
Hun Sen with indicated that he hopes that PM and myself differences will not lead to any dissolution and conflict again the future in the sake of..... that might open up the old wound... in this case Sam Rainsy will be able to reserve his rights to repeal the case without totally spelled almost confession to Hun Sen.
Sam Rainsy wrote this letter in hectic and euphoric mood situation when he got this news from Hun Sen.
Although there is no linitation of criminal file status, Sam Rainsy from now on is more likely found himself in very tight position to maneuver through this legal process. Sam Rainsy hopes and depends on the speculation that the verdicts will fall to his favor and open up for political negotiation of his return. Remember that recent month Sam Rainsy told the public that he would not apology or make regret again to Hun Sen. But if Hun Sen demands this statement before any return granted. What Sam Rainsy decision?
Mediation form international diplomatic solution require mutual
compromise. Think hard before you act. Hun Sen has more cloud over this issue.
I hope Sam rainsy will have surprised edge that I don't know.

Can anybody verify the authenticity of this letter? I'm not sure if it is genuine. The only thing that matters me the most is national reconciliation. If this letter is genuine, which I doubt it is not, its tone has more to do with reconciliation even though with a crocodile like Mr. Hun Sen. For me, I will be very willing to say "I'm sorry" if it leads to reconciliation.

I am glad this letter is translated. First of all, Sam Rainsy has never said sorry to the one eyed YUON slave Hun Sen. In addition, Sam Rainsy's explanation is a political tone. Similarly, Hun Sen the ugly also responded that he used Sam Rainsy politically in order to make an amend to the power-sharing law. Hun Sen and his clique used to bash King Sihanouk, but when King Shihanouk entered Cambodia and asked Hun Sen for his stance toward him, Hun Sen said that the bashing was a political matter only. Lol.
In addition, while Mr. Sam Rainsy politically used the term "improper conduct" for his own actions against Hun Sen, it does not cut the FACT that there is plenty of evidence implicating Hun Sen in the granade attack and the killings of Ranaridth's generals and men. That is a fact. Even if Mr. Sam Rainsy chooses to play down the existing evidence against Hun Sen to further his politcal carereer at the time, it still does not mean that Hun Sen is not a suspect of the granade attacks and the political killings of Ranaridth's men. Even if Mr. Sam Rainsy chooses to ignore the facts and truths against Hun Sen, the International will still find Hun Sen a suspect in those killings. Hun Sen is still viewed as a suspect to be summoned by an international court. This is not about what Sam Rainsy said politically in his letter to the one-eyed butcher Hun Sen; this is about Hun Sen and the evidence of killings against the person and defendant Hun Sen.
Look at Duch. Duch always claims that he had never killed anyone personally, but the evidence of overwhelming against Duch, even if he is already converted to Christianity and the GOD of that religion already forgave his unimaginable sin against humanity. Duch is still a guilty person. Likewise, this is not about what Sam Rainsy said, but it is about the one-eyed Butcher and the evidence in the killings that implicate him. So call forth the defendant Hun Sen to the international court so that he can finally face his sin. Hun Sen, stop evading and start facing the evidence against you as a man, you YUON slave dog. This dog is so low and a gangster that he order the Khmer lettering goes under the YUON lettering when the YUONs visit Cambodia. This is so disgusting. Lol.
I just looked up the Khmer term "SoakSdy". This is from the Khmer English dictionary 2006. It is translated into English as follows: "to regret, to lament, to mourn (the loss or the death of..).
The Khmer term "SoamToas" is translated as "to beg someone's pardon; pardon me, excuse me".
Now clearly, the English term "regret" does not ever mean to "beg someone's pardon or forgiveness" at all.
So clearly, Mr. Sam Rainsy has never begged for Hun Sh*t pardon at all. In fact, he has asked Hun Sen to work with him in order for the benefits of the many generations of the Cambodian people to come.
So to all you haters and twisters and distractors of Mr. Sam Rainsy, just know this, just like in Khmer language, the term "SoakSdy" is not the same as the term "SoamToas", in English the term "regret" does not means to "beg for someone's pardon".
Get your definitions straight. Sam Rainsy still stands as always.
That is right 11:15, Hun Sen also said that he regretted that Keng Vansak died before having a chance to visit Cambodia the land of his birth. So does that mean that Hun Sen was begging for Keng Vansak's pardon too? Lol.
