We are not just khmer in Cambodia, we are around the world Khmer are every where...
we want peace, love, and freedom and rights.

The problem with Khmer is that we only "love" on paper. And equality in writing.
When it comes down to it, our community are really shattered. I wonder if this is the effect of Khmer Rough, or just our characters which got the Khmer Rough. Chicken or the Egg? Are we a broken and distrustful people among ourselves because of the Khmer Rough or did the Khmer Rough happen because we are a broken people?
Some Khmer leaders are very selfish. When they talk with you they snicker, bellow under their nose, and fill the air with sarcasm. Especially if they perceive that you don't understand what they are saying.
Khmers are quick to judge, slow to listen, and even more retarded in senses to empathize and support each other.
It disgust me to see that such kind of attitude still exist in our society. No wonder we have not made much progress compares to other asian community who comes to each others aid and enlighten their community rather than laughing at their own people because they are "stupid".
No one is stupid, knowledge is on the sum of your experience. Wisdom is the application drawn from experiences. And not all have equal exposure to any experience that any one person or group may have.
Khmer should keep this mind, and learn to accept their people and connect with everyone including the "not so enlighten" and smart one so that we can build up our human resources.
As long as our attitude continues to go in the opposite way as it does right now, no matter how many thousand people moment power we rise, we are bound to failure and doom the very moment we start.
Success starts with the individual units, if individual units are not enlighten and we cast those aside, that is casting out valuable human resources and potentials. We are our own handicap!
