Kep Chuktema, the governor of Phnom Penh city, told Radio France Internationale yesterday afternoon that the main reason for the death was due to the large number of people on the bridge. This year, we are very happy to see that the preparation was done the best possible. But, it was unintentional that we did not think this tragedy could take place.”

encourage all khmer leaders both future and present to come study in from america and in american university and colleges because i see a lot of lacking in cambodia, especially in know-how and education. or maybe american professors, educators, scientists, experts, military, etc should come teach and call cambodia their home for a change so cambodia will become a better society and country. yes, cambodia can use and learn from american experience, etc... god bless cambodia.

a city major should be required to certified and have a college degree from america, australia, the EU, and japan for city planner job because cities in cambodia needs better city plan or urban planning, really! phnom penh, siem reap, battambang, sihanoukville, etc must be developed to their full capacity as major cities of cambodia and the world!

apology" to the meeting.This what he said," the main reason for the was due to the large number of people on the bridge".The crowded people on the span was your responsibility;you(Kep Chuktema)should be in charge those people by allowing them to get in and out
properly.The police in charge should be well supervised to people who were crossing the bridge. Kep Chuktema must step down,not to get any job all the rest of his life.
Dumbo, it is is not about 'intent' because if it was, that would be criminal! It was all about incompetence. If you are lacking the forsight to prevent and handle disasters, resign and let the competent one have the job. Was that still difficult to understand!

Hun Xen believes in its superstitions (Bramah). He is willing to do everything (even its people's lives) to secure his fake power (not including his visible beliefs).
He pretends that is the accident, but remember the tragedy is the planned tragedy:
- Authority was not present (until 1 hour or so later)
- No true investigation being taken seriously, instead the scene was cleaned up very quickly.
- Hun Xen and his PigHD Bun Rany has 70% share of the whole Koh Pich development, followed by Kim Soy (Khmer Rough Treasurer) and now is the Canadia Bank's owner, Kith Meng...etc.
- The rescue team and authorities were not responsible for the event and let the deaths escalated..
- Hun Xen suddenly came out and declared Nov 25 (instead of Nov 22) as the national holiday.
...etc.
Look at things carefully. Hun Xen pretends crying in front of the public, but that is not the true pain and sympathy. He used to kill more than just that number of people during K-5, 97' coup...etc you name it.
Just a school of thoughts for you and Pro-CPPs.
We need a true responsible leader.
