The United Nations Security Council will hold its meeting on Feb. 14 to discuss over the border dispute between Cambodia and Thailand, said Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Wednesday afternoon.

Cambodia will send Deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong, minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, to explain the meeting about Thai aggression into Cambodian territory near the 11th century temple, said Hun Sen while closing the annual conference of the Ministry of Commerce.

"Now the United Nations Security Council decided to hold the meeting on Monday, the minister Hor Namhong is preparing documents to explain to the UNSC meeting," he said. "We will meet each other at the UNSC."

He said the Thai side will send its Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya to the meeting and Indonesia, as the chair of ASEAN, will also be invited to the meeting.

"Now you (Thailand) can deny in front of the UNSC and deny in front of the ASEAN," he said.

The spokesman for the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Koy Kuong said Wednesday that the schedule of Hor Namhong's departure for New York is not yet set, "but he will arrive in New York before the next Monday meeting."

Beloved Cambodians in SISAKET, SURIN and all Khmers along the border,

This war is caused by Yellow shirt and Abhisit. Abhisit was installed by Yellow shirt. Two Yellow shirts are in Cambodian Jail. Abhisit will do everything including war to obey Yellow shirt. Khmers overseas strongly condemn Abhisit administration and Yellow shirt.

We are sorry if our brothers and sisters in Sisaket, Surin and all Khmers along the border were affected by this war of aggression committed by Yellow shirt and Abhisit team.

We ask all of our brothers and sisters in Sisaket, Buriram, Surin and other cities in Thailand to stand up to demand for immediate stop this dirty war and ask for compensation from Thai authority.

Khmer Empire
Cambodia was at least 4 times as large as Cambodia is today

No matter what meeting, they will always deny their guilt because thief never accepts the truth. It’s time for the UN to send an observer team to the area to monitor the cease fire.

cambodia, don't forget to tell the world and point out the real root of the conflict which is siem's disrespect of the international treaty map of 1907 and siem contempt of court by rankling over the icj verdict of 1962 50 plus years later, etc! that the root of the conflict, everything else is secondary to it! focus on the root of the cost i.e. siem pad thugs exploiting cambodia with their rankling and thailand violation of the internation treaty of 1907 and the international law and the icj verdict of 1962, that is the root of this conflict, not who fired first or second or what have you. also, tell the UN to investigate siem's illegal use of the illegal cluster bombs on their invasion of cambodia and the damage they made to the world heritage site the preah vihear temple complex. don't let siem thugs get away, take them to court for justice once and for all! sue them for provocation, their violation, their rankling, damage to the temple, etc, etc!
