Oui, oui, we sympathize.  It’s a tough position; you’re caught between a rock and a hard place.  But deferring to your Cambodian colleague, the beastly Ang Pich, because you’re such a neophyte (not your fault, not your fault) and ignoring victims’ interests will not put you on the right side of history.

As the Americans (and in honor of Sir—is that alright if we call you Sir—Andrew T. Cayley, the British) would say, the jury is still out.  Let’s watch and see.

Victims, pay attention.  These are your PPPVV at the ECCC.
