Han Chey Inscriptions (Kampong Cham) and Tuk Mas Inscription( Central Java) , a connection

The Han Chey (Kampong Cham, cambodia) and Tuk Mas (of Central Java) inscriptions are incised in Pallava scripts (attached), both are of basically the same period of time 6-7th century, and the same style; and there are quite a number of khmer words (toponyms) in Java, like here Tuk mas (Golden Water). The Java Inscription (840 A.D.) and Airlangga inscription of Java mentioned the "Kmir"/Khmers' presence there. Curiously, how influential the Khmer ruling/connection was on Java in the old times? and also there was a mention of Khmer invasion of Java once during Angkor, but was repelled. Was it, really.

i recognize old khmer writings right away! these are real old khmer writings. and given that king jayavarman was mentioned to declared independence from java in present-day indonesia, tells a lot at the contact khmer people had with java of that time, etc, really! i think back then the champa kingdom in present-day central vietnam was a part of the java of indonesia. look at malaysia today, their country is located in two separate areas, if you look on the map. so if you know the fact, then ancient champa was connected to java in indonesia; and we know from history that the ancient enemies of cambodia was the champa who invaded angkor at the height of the khmer empire and khmer power then. the siem and the youn came much later after angkor and the khmer empire was at its weakest point toward the 15th or 16th century, i believe!

old khmer word for the people of indonesia, malaysia, and perhaps the present-day philipines as well was "jvea" which derived from the word "java" itself, you know!

remember that the founder of the khmer angkor civilization or khmer empire was king jayavarman the II, who declared independence from java in the maritime areas. of course, going back before this time, funan or nokor phnom kingdom as khmer were known then conquered by java. you know, it interesting history to theorize this way. how can we ignore it when it was mentioned in stone inscription about this era of khmer history. i truly believe, that java tried to conquer funan or nokor phnom kingdom as cambodia was then known, then king jayavarman declared independence from java and found the khmer empire of angkor civilization. i think somewhere in the history book it doesn't directly say that, but i theorized that that was what occurred then, funan or nokor phnom was conquered by java, then khmer had to fight with jvea to regain its independence, etc, thus the khmer empire was conceived with angkor as its capital or center of power, etc, you know!
