Khmerization is pro-Hun Sen government

By Anonymous

It have yet to see other Cambodian political leaders who are willing to loose everything to fight for Cambodia than Mr. Sam Rainsy.

I am not surprised by the timing of putting out such critical story by Khmerization in attempt to dampen democratic spirit of Sam Rainsy Party members! Since SRP commemorates the 14th Anniversary of 30 March Grenade Attack and Khmerization also put out the critical article of Sam Rainsy Party on 30th March!!The timing couldn't be better because this shows that the Khmerization is taking pro-Hun Sen government stand on land grabbing, corruption, freedom of expression oppression, and workers oppression to demand a living wage, the border issue demarcation with the Vietcong government...

This is not the end of the world for Sam Rainsy Party and if it is true then the Sam Rainsy Party steering committee must make some changes to accommodate those Sam Rainsy Party members who are the most qualified at the same time train and mentor those Sam Rainsy Party members who are less qualified to take leadership! To those Sam Rainsy Party members who have been with the party from beginning in promoting democratic value and they should offer some incentives to stay with the party to have a role as advisor!

Sam Rainsy Party has come a long way and there is no turning back and to the future Cambodian people must look ahead at the bigger picture of how we as Cambodian people can transform Cambodia into more democratic country with stability and prosperity and advancement in all fields of endeavor to make Cambodia a better place and contribute to the world peace!!!!!!
--------------------------
Khmerization's note:

The publication of the Khmerization's article "SRP's Self-Destruction" was not timed to coincide with the anniversary of the 30th March 1997 grenade attack. Khmerization condemn the 1997 grenade attack in the strongest term and any similarity in the timing of the publication of this article is purely coincidental. Khmerization is neither pro-Hun Sen nor pro-Sam Rainsy, Khmerization is pro-democracy and pro-Cambodian national interests. However, Khmerization still believe that the SRP is the better alternative to any parties in Cambodia and Khmerization's criticism of the SRP is not an attempt to discredit it in any way, but is an attempt to present the shortcomings and the other side of the SRP.

Me once again admirably love Khmerization's nationally patriotical statement, "Khmerization is pro-democracy and pro-Cambodian National Interests". If so, does Khmerization supposedly find any solution to solve the problem or jestfully attack and insult the falling of SRP?

The truth hurts sometimes. I commend Khmerization for his work on this article.

To the author of the above article

Accusing Khmerization of pro Hun-Sen government is disappointing.
I daily read Khmerization and I've never found anything that could confirm this blog was pro Hun Sen.
In democracy everyone has the right to give opinions, critics towards any party, especially his own party. And the true democracy party should take a pro-active approach to these critics and
not to react negativement to them, otherwise they are not better than Hun Sen.

Where is Sam rainsy ? Why has he given no sign of life? We are looking forward to hearing his comments on the Mao Monivann and fifteen members defection.
If he had enough of all these problems, let us know!

How sad KI have to stoop this low to try and slander another blog site. Do you have to really make this commentary part of your daily article? Thanks to KI i actually moved away from being an SRP supporter. They are like any other politicians.

nothing wrong with that, really! cambodia has seen enough bias already in both the past and recent history! we don't need anymore bias toward our country again, ok! god bless cambodia.

of course, there are more to cambodia than you and i, you know!

Khmerization is doing a favor for SRP face saving as far as its hypocrisy, everyone knew Sam Raingsy personal endeavour should also know his ulterior motif in entering the left field when Sihanouk son stooped to the right. His doings fit Sihanouk's personal agendas as if he was a pawn to keep Sihanouk's treason charges out of people condemnation.

All shall say thank you to Khmerization for doing this in bringing out SRP's shortcomings for self correction plus he did it on his own time without expecting any reward as the partisans would have done.
Partisans need to stomach the criticisms and to reconcile with own shortfalls not to bite the messenger.

Koh Tral Island must not be forgotten

By Ms. Rattana Keo

Why do Koh Tral Island, known in Vietnam as Phu Quoc, a sea and land area covering proximately over 10,000 km2 [Note: the actual land size of Koh Tral itself is 574 square kilometres (222 sq miles)] have been lost to Vietnam by whose treaty? Why don’t Cambodia government be transparent and explain to Cambodia army at front line and the whole nation about this? Why don't they include this into education system? Why?

Cambodian armies are fighting at front line for 4.6 km2 on the Thai border and what's about over 10,000km2 of Cambodia to Vietnam. Nobody dare to talk about it! Why? Cambodian armies you are decide the fate of your nation, Cambodian army as well as Cambodian people must rethink about this again and again. Is it fair?

Koh Tral Island, the sea and land area of over 10,000 square kilometres have been lost to Vietnam by the 1979 to 1985 treaties. The Cambodian army at front line as well as all Cambodian people must rethink again about these issues. Are Cambodian army fighting to protect the Cambodia Nation or protecting a very small group that own big lands, big properties or only protecting a small group but disguising as protecting the Khmer nation?

The Cambodian army at front lines suffer under rain, wind, bullets, bombs, lack of foods, lack of nutrition and their families have no health care assistance, no securities after they died but a very small group eat well, sleep well, sleep in first class hotel with air conditioning system with message from young girls, have first class medical care from oversea medical treatments, they are billionaires, millionaires who sell out the country to be rich and make the Cambodian people suffer everyday.

Who signed the treaty 1979-1985 that resulted in the loss over 10,000 km2 of Cambodia??? Why they are not being transparent and brave enough to inform all Cambodians and Cambodian army at front line about these issues? Why don't they include Koh Tral (Koh Tral size is bigger than the whole Phom Phen and bigger than Singapore [Note: Singapore's present land size is 704 km2 (271.8 sq mi)]) with heap of great natural resources, in the Cambodian education system?

Look at Hun Sen's families, relatives and friends- they are billionaires, millionaires. Where did they get the money from when we all just got out of war with empty hands [in 1979]? Hun Sen always say in his speeches that Cambodia had just risen up from the ashes of war, just got up from Year Zero with empty hands and how come they are billionaires, millionaires but 90% of innocent Cambodian people are so poor and struggling with their livelihood every day?

Smart Khmer girl Ms. Rattana Keo,

I am the author of the above article. I believe there is a right time and place for everything! But when Khmerization came out with a cheap shot at SRP when the SRP members are mourning the victims of grenade attack of 1997 and it is so wrong because SRP doesn't need attention from anybody including Khmerization! It is the victims of grenade attack who are the one that need the most attention because up to now no one is held accountable for the crime committed against these Cambodian people including SRP members! I see only SRP is speaking out and demanding justice for these dead Cambodian people!

If Khmerization is trying to take away the attention of grenade attack of 1997 whether it is by coincident or by accident and it is uncalled for because SRP members have suffered enough over the years including stripping of immunity for persecution, threaten with jail terms and heavy fines, force into self-exile and even assassination. As you can see SRP operated in the most toxic political environment and of course there maybe shortcoming in some areas but overall SRP is still doing a good job in forcing Hun Sen Vietcong puppet regime to confront Cambodian issues! Whether Hun Sen regime want to work with SRP or not t or even want the SRP dead is not the point! The point is Hun Sen used to say without cooperation from Cambodian people and it will not be possible!

Cambodia as a country has suffered enough and all Cambodian people must come together to rebuild a new society where all Cambodian people can participate in free democratic way without fear regardless whether you are poor or rich. All Cambodian people have a voice and all Cambodian people are important!

12:47 PM is doing a disservice to the SRP by attacking Khmerization trying to raise the issue of SRP's shortcomings. No one and party should be above criticism and the SRP as a democratic party must be receptable to criticism. T quickly jump on someone who is trying to point out its weaknesses will only makes the SRP looks bad in the eyes of the people. The SRP and its supporters must be tolerant of criticism and try to correct its mistakes.

Not agreeing with Khmerization article and the date of its publication is part of the democracy, but accusing it as pro-Hun Xen is not working and a cheap shot too.
In your own word "all Cambodian people can participate in free democratic way without fear regardless whether you are poor or rich.
All Cambodian people have a voice and all Cambodian people are important!". Why Khmerization can't have one?

khmer people are getting sick of old goat being greedy and fighting each other like sports nonstop, ok! enough already! let it be history, finally, please!

I never claimed that I know the inner working the nuts and bolts that hold the SRP together so no harm is done here! As for Khmerization should know better when to criticize SRP because to criticize on the day of the dead is to have no respect for the dead! Don't forget that these dead Cambodian people is the result of struggle for democracy in Cambodia!

If Khmerization has a voice and why not use it in constructive manner than to criticise the SRP on the day of the dead when SRP mourned the lost of Cambodian people who are dying fighting for democracy!
