Maybe khmer need to have war with thailand, to have thai come in to fight youn?
it looked like it's difficult to tell who lived there before 193, etc, because some are true, some are probably just complaining to get compensated. this is a legacy of gov't allowed display people to live on gov't property too long and until now. i think these people housing assistance and a little compensation, but they shouldn't be greedy to demand market value or complain about moving far from school or business, etc! gov't have to develop this area of the city becuase now it looks like a rural area, so gov't wanted to make it look like a city. afterall, boeng kak is located in the center of the city! people should take some compensation and move on, they can't live on water or mud like this!
i think some people like this couple deserve a fair compensation while others who abuse or exploit the chaotic scenic should get nothing. yes, in cambodia, people will take advantage of the chaotic situation to make illegitimate claim based on greed, abuse, etc, you know! but the people like this couple who, according to the video and support from his neighbors, stated that they lived in the area since before 1993, so this couple deserve a fair compensation as they have small childre to care and a family to care; they need a home to live. i hope gov't will listen to some of the people like this couple, while others could be questionable as to their greedy motive. i think this couple is convincible and definitely deserve a fair share of the compensation if they were to relocate, etc, really!
