Following the revelation of the taped conversation between Kem Sokha, HRP president, and Hun Xen which led the public to believe that the HRP was formed by the ruling CPP party, Kem Sokha confirmed that he is clean man and that he is willing to take an oath so that lightning would strike him if he is indeed a CPP puppet.
Kem Sokha declared in front of national news media that he and the HRP are not CPP puppets, and the HRP was not formed to serve the CPP or Hun Xen. “If we are superstitious, let lightning strike me and destroy me if I am bad person as I am accused. Let lightning strike me.”
Kem Sokha said that the leak of the taped conversation between him and Hun Xen was done by the CPP to break the democratic voice.
Nevertheless, yesterday, the SRP office issued a statement condemning Kem Sokha’s betrayal, and the SRP stated that Hun Xen and Kem Sokha showed their common goal of destroying the SRP.

Go over and read the content of his conversation. He did it all from the bottom of his heart to fight against anything he deemed interfering with the great work and vision of Hun Sen. What else do you want to know? Can you read and understand Khmer from that perspective?

I don't see what Kem Sokha done wrong here. If I am a political leader I would want to win just like the next guy. So what if he is trying to split the SRP party. This is a strategy to get vote regardless if it is from the CPP or SRP. The bottom lines is that if he is doing with the intent to serve all Khmer as a whole. If I am Kim Sokha, I would come out clean and said yes I did it because I want to win. If what it take to win by getting some help from Hun Sen with the intent to serve the Khmer people, why not?

in this hrp/cpp saga, it is not Mr Kem sokha who must bear all the responsibility but all the leaders of the HRP including son sobert, pen sovann and other - after a source, pen sovann and few other are paid by hun/cpp to look over HRP and mr kem sokha. Cpp and other people in hrp want to chase out Lok Kem Sokha out of the party because Lok Kem Sokha didn’t respect cpp/yuon schedule or political line. In this case he didn’t betray Khmer but cpp/yuons. This same thing happen with polpot. Yuons chase out polpot not because there was genocide against Khmer set up by yuons but first of all because polpot revolt against viets and want independent from yuons including refusing to sign all the treaty you imposed to polpot, as the matter of fact, viets set up another genocide against khmer to exterminate all Khmer rest from polpot regime. Yuons want much more Khmer to be killed than what it is being done during the killing field ….

Cambodia not is not at war and politician need to communicate and excuse to keep country at peace as possible with democracy and justice!
PM and MPs were taking oaths before taking positons. I absolutely 100%, that they all commit treasons and other wrong doing, but they still live happily.
Sokha uses the lightning strike pretends to compel people to beleive him. What a very simple and cheap convincing method. Sokha should go around to explain word by word of what he has had with Hun Sen. He should hire experts to do damage control. He would apologize in public for mishap in his judgment and extend sincere apology to SRP. Then sit down and have straight and honest talk with SRP. Come up with the concrete plan to regain trust such as sharing communication, establish a mutual contract of agreement, exchange memo/reports, and invite SRP for the HRP staff meeting, these are the first step.
If He can't come with these steps, Sokha is not honest and sincere. Denying and sworn for the ligthning strike are not the answers. They are outdated and obsolete methods.

Today I want to tell all Khmers who love really own country, Kampuchea. During I was in Phnom Penh
our family had a good relation to the former transport minister between 1980-85. This minister who was Khmer living in Hanoi since he was 6 Years old, his wife is Vietnam from Hanoi (high cader but a good Vietname).
Sometimes at the weekend when we had time my family parents invited for food in our house and sometimes we
was invited by him for lunch at his house. He had always tell uns about the destiny near by the future and he always
concerned the lose of the Khmer land today because he knew exactly what the Hanoi's policy wanted.
One day he was sick and sent to Hanoi, a day later die. As we knew this news we go to his house to give condolence to his three children and his wife. Wehreas we came in on his house, she cried down loud and told us and the other gests "He husband was injected by water" and she was not allowed to see husband, then she told us Veitnam has always want to annex Cambodia like Champa and Kampuchea Krom that is the exact plan from
Ho Chi Minh. She know this bacuse she was Vietnam cader and she was teaching like this. So, it means no all Vietnames are bad people, those love peace like Khmer too but the problem is the Khmers traitors who had never been in Vietnam ??
His boss, Hun Sen, always curse that lightning will struck if he doen't like someone. Now since Sva Kem Sokha wish that kind of swear word i'm afraid it will be true... So becareful mr. sva kem sokha. You might be the victim of your boss's curse.
