In Cambodia, last chance for 470,000 to register to vote for the 2012 local elections kicked off 2 days ago.
The Sam Rainsy Party's machinery nationwide is in place. SRP party agents are present in each of the 1,601 commune offices.
SRP defends and protects the right to vote that starts with a registration process that is free and fair.
Elections in Cambodia since 1998 have been rated as below international standards, with major irregularities at each step of the electoral process.
The SRP message to voters;
Message to youth voters: Register to vote for a prosperous future.
Message to all voters: Register to vote to protect your land and well-being.

It is very very good machinery from SRP and I hopefully that SRP going to win over Hun Sen about Khmer territory protection policy.
Please Khmer people do vote for SRP to save our country from dictatorhip, deforestation, human right violation, yuon land grabbing and a better future for Cambodia and her people. For past 3 decades, Khmer people are still dirt poor under CPP rules. We do need a new government that is for the people not for their own self interest, family, friends and party.
How long Sam Rainsy plant to stay in power if he get elected !!!!

The answer: He would get Deputy prime minister post for inter-ministers office relationship and Government protoccol right now if he would agree with Hun Sen to drop charges and stay quiet.

In free world economy, you are going to have rich and poor people, and I don't think you can change that. The rich will control the Gov. just like in the US and you need to learn how to live with it either you like it or not.
If you want to make every body to be equal, you have to implement KR society system and we (Cambodian)had been this road before !!!!
Just like if you want the School system to make every student to be equaly smart, it is imppossible !!
Last term voters:
The CPP got 2,100,000 votes.
The SRP got 1,300,000 votes.
The small Parties got small votes
HRP and the rest of other parties.

I live in Australia. No one here is as poor as your Cambodian people. Even the rich people in Cambodia still want to come to live in Australia so much.Not mention the oknhas and cronies.
